Default Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back

I will leave this here and never come back.

All joking aside, do you know who voices Bubsy? I’ve seen tweets by .. “fans” saying it’s either Brian Drummond or Vic Micnogna. All speculation, but what do you guys think?

By the way the credits don’t mention who voices him and that makes me angry. Grr.

I think that actually does sound like Vic Mignogna. D@mn.

If there are no VAs credited then the game is probably non-union. Obviously it looks pretty budget so it'd make sense.

I can kinda make out Keroro and Burter from Bubsy.. maybe? I see where you’re coming from NCZ, but I’m not too sure.

This is an interesting career pace.

Well it's not really far off from his regular voice. Between 17s and 34s is when it really sounds like him, and especially when he says "I'm gonna knit the biggest sweater ever", that's basically Vic when he raises his voice. Radolf from Ar tonelico was the first thing I thought of for something similar to that. I'm not totally sure either and it'd help if we knew anything about where it was done but I do hear a resemblance.

We all gotta eat.

I can definitely hear some Vic in there, although Bubsy's trademark short quips don't make it the easiest to be sure about.

How does the Bubsy franchise get such talented actors to voice the main character? I felt bad enough for Rob Paulsen and especially Lani Minella being forced to do that obnoxious voice, but now Vic Mignogna too? Broly himself? Jeez...

I know the answer's money, that was a rhetorical question. It's still weird though, you'd expect titles like these to not be able to afford such high profile voice actors but time and time again that's somehow proven wrong.

Here’s another video. The voice lines are more consistent and a bit longer than usual “hilarious” clips.

I think.. yup that’s Vic. Oh Lordy.

I still think it might be Brian Drummond. The voice sounds an awful lot like his other roles particularly Streaky the Supercat from Krypto the Superdog.

So, I compiled the best audio file I could manage since most of the lines are either played with annoying music or don’t say much, just so we could get a better judgement. Is this Vic Mignogna?

For me, I think it sounds like him yet he feels a bit off. Wouldn’t blame him if he phoned it in.. sent an email to him, too.

Yeah that's definitely Vic. Now that I can listen to it clearly there's no way that's not him.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry or feel embarrassed or what. Yet again the Bubsy franchise wastes another talented actor. First Pinky, than Rouge the Bat and now Edward Elric. What's even more sad is that two of the three (Rob and Lani) have admitted they hated every minute of it which I honestly find to be perfect. Poor Minella had it worse out of everyone though (and for that I pray for her soul).
