I’d say:
Ana Gasteyer as Elita-One
Carrie Keranen as Arcee
Erica Luttrell as Strongarm
Tricia Helfer as Airazor
Jill Scott as Quintessa
Kate Mulgrew as the Mistress of Flame
Stephanie Sheh as Slipstream
Morena Baccarin as Blackarachnia
Lucy Lawless as Strika
And Brian Bloom as Dirge

I am curious though as to why Quintessa’s a hero, the Mistress is a villain, and what Dirge is doing in all this.

I'm Reimagining Quintessa as a Morally Ambiguous Comedic Sociopath Anti Hero Autobot who Elita One is trying to Keep in Check.

The Astra Force Version of The Mistress of Flame is being manipulated and Corrupted into Madness by Dirge (who is secretly working for Unicron).

A friend of mine thought of Jim Cummings as Unicron and I had some free time so I decided to try and edit a Unicron voice from him.
Here’s my attempt: boop

IDW's done a good job of introducing new characters into the G1 universe, so I figured I'd cast most of those same characters. (Or at least the majority of which have toys out.) So, without further ado:

#Autobots
+Ian Anthony Dale as Drift (the one that doesn't talk in samurai cliches)
+Kelly Hu as Windblade
+Scott Menville as Alpha Bravo (new Aerialbot who replaced the late Slingshot)
+Travis Willingham as Rook (with a West German accent; new Protectobot)
+The Torchbearers (each vocally modeled after an archetype of some sort)
-Jennifer Hale as Pyra Magna (picture a Boston firefighter)
-Grey Griffin as Jumpstream (Liverpudlian mechanic) and Dust-Up (Tokyo street racer)
-Masasa Moyo as Skyburst and Stormclash (Swedish and Carribbean para-rescue)
-Kari Wahlgren as Rust Dust (Detroit biker)
-Diane Delano as Victorion
+Crispin Freeman as Rung
+Amanda C. Miller as Aileron
+Colleen Villard as Nautica
+Norman Reedus as Riptide
+Cherami Leigh as Stardrive
+Marina Sirtis as the Mistress of Flame

#Decepticons
+Matt Lanter as Off-Road (new Stunticon who replaced the late Wildrider)
+Gideon Emery as Viper (while placed with Galvatronus according to the Combiner Wars toyline, I'm putting him as a new Combaticon)
+Henry Simmons as Flatline
+Max Mittleman as Fulcrum
+Melissa Rauch as Nickel
+The Decepticon Justice Division
-Jonathan Adams as Tarn
-Kyle Hebert as Helex
-Joe J. Thomas as Kaon
-Imari Williams as Tesarus
-Todd Haberkorn as Vos

Got a challenge for you all--anyone have ideas for an English dub cast for Headmasters, Masterforce, and Victory, the Japan-exclusive G1 shows? (Extra points if someone squeaks out ideas for dubs of Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo.)

I did a few 80's dream casts for Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory and Zone some time ago (it must be in this thread somewhere), but I'm thinking about updating it someday.

You mean this one?

Here’s a challenge—how would you cast these with the crop of anime dub talent used by say, Harmony Gold at the time?

Yup, that's it.

And man, now that sounds like a challenge. I'll try to come up with a cast like that soon.

I'll be waiting. Man, imagine if once Sunbow was done with the Transformers license like they were with GI Joe, and Hasbro, in their oddball infinite wisdom, gave the animation rights to Harmony Gold of all companies, who in turn bring over the...Well, at least Masterforce and Victory, cause it'd take a lot of Macek magic to incorporate Headmasters with Rebirth.
