Default Trails of Cold Steel - Crow

This is one that's been a pretty big mystery in my circles for years. When the full cast for CS2 was given we only got the very obvious alias of Charger Tomlee for him.

The dub for CS1 and 2 were both recorded at PCB Productions with Valerie Arem handling the dub, if we were to look for leads on the production side. On that note, I'll throw Andrew Bowen as a possibility out there from his work on Catherine and ZTD - though I'm in no way familiar with him outside of Johnny Cage.

Hereís an earlier and longer scene of Crow talking.

Johnny Cage and Carlos, along with Andrew Bowenís voice demo (http://www.theandrewbowen.com/portfolio/voice-over/), sadly donít even have anything that sounds even remotely like Crow. This is another Anna Graves as Naoto one in that I donít think the actor has done much else in these types of games at all.

Yeah, I do think looking through more obscure/less anime inclined PCB Productions regulars is probably a good start though. Either we'll find someone after going through tons of people or we'll have it revealed randomly like with Naoto 10 years later.

Not totally married to it, but what about Scott Whyte? His Flash hits a lot of the same beats IMO. He also was in Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark, which was directed by Valerie Arem.

Would like if others could take a listen as well.

Oh wow, the similarities there just kinda jumped out at me. His Leonardo and Jazz sound similar too, just younger and with an accent respectively.
He was in Titanfall 2 as well more recently which was also done by PCB and Valerie Arem.
I think thatís a really solid guess! Didnít honestly people had anyone in mind for Crowís voice but wow.

Titanfall 2 wasn't done by PCB, but he was in last year's Blade Runner game which was done by PCB so there's still a connection there.

Can't say for certain it's Scott, bu this is definitely the best lead we've had for Crow so far.

Yeah, Scott Whyte is a really solid lead. Would need to hear a bit more of his normal speaking voice (I assume Flash is pretty close to that) but we might be getting somewhere finally.

I also found this.

Donít think thatís real. The character image there has Alexei and Rufus - two DC Douglas characters.

Yeah, seems likely, but might as well gather everything we can. The only other official credit I can find for a Charger Tomlee is this...thing from Secret of Mana.

Yeah I donít think anyone ever believed Charger Tomlee was anything but an alias.
I remember when XSeed did a stream for when Cold Steel 2 was being ported to PC and Hatsuu had ďWho is Charger Tomlee?Ē on her drinking game list of unfortunate chat activities aha

The more I hear Scott Whyte the more convinced I am. Hell his Flash was pretty much dead on!
