So good news, the Gundam Seed Collector's Edition Bluray came a month early and the credits list the entire cast no matter how small the part. Neat to see a couple Funimation stragglers and TJ Storm in the list.

Very fitting that a redub nobody asked for is filled with alleged (for le legal reasons) sex pests. I guess that's what happens when the dub is on the shelf for so long.

Seriously, why couldn't we get a Dub for X or Turn A instead of another SEED Dub? This Cast is too good for SEED! (Which seems to be a constant in all languages for this series). The only bit of this cast that makes me remotely happy its not being wasted on such a mediocre show is Yuri Lowenthal as TM Revolution, because that is hilarious.

Very fitting that a redub nobody asked for is filled with alleged (for le legal reasons) sex pests. I guess that's what happens when the dub is on the shelf for so long.

Guessing Tom Wayland will end up getting replaced for when they inevitably Redub Destiny unless the Dub for that has also been finished for a while. Maybe they'll get Trevor Devall back? I'm not sure really.

Yeah the first thing I thought when those names came up was "wow this has been done for a while".

I suspect they at least started working on it. I remember that when Kevin T. Collins was announced they said he was playing Rau le Creuset and Rey Za Burrell. And as far as I know Rey is only in Destiny. If they have started Tom is probably still involved. Although I wouldn't complain if he gets replaced. I've seen a couple episodes of the Redub and he's really the only actor that I feel isn't at the level of everyone else in the cast performance wise.

I think Keith Silverstein was tagged at a wrap part for the dub, and since he isn't part of the cast for SEED, it seems reasonable to assume they might've cast him as Durandal for the redub of Destiny.

Because clearly we needed the Char joke to surpass the language barrier. Meanwhile we couldn't get 00's Amuro gag to do the same (Goddammit Ocean, I thought you were better than this!).

I'm gonna take a wild guess and assume this also means we're getting Wendee Lee as Ramius.

I think it would be the third or fourth time he's played a Shuichi Ikeda character? Counting Char, Full Frontal (natch), and Shido. I feel like there's one more I'm forgetting.

Apparently he's also playing Akai Shuichi in all the Detective Conan stuff Diskotek's been throwing out.

Strangely this means they kept the Char gag, but not Amuro one (Which is weird because Lucien Dodge is in the Dubs playing Hattori).
