Default Unison: Rebels of Rhythm and Dance

A not-particularly-famous Playstation 2 rhythm game that is pretty hard to describe beyond that. I suppose it's like a very silly retelling of Footloose? In any case, the credits do not match up characters to their actors, but there's only an English voice track that has seven people in the cast. I have some of idea of who plays what role, but not anything decisive, so feel free to pitch in.

I made an old request thread about this here. While i replaced the older images with better ones, i removed the unconfirmed cast because i was blindly following IMDb's entry (that goes by it's Japanese title Unison).

Credits:

Tom Clark ("Tom Clack")
Paul Lucas
Jeff Manning
Terry Osada
Gerri Sorrells
Rumiko Varnes
Chris Wells

Voice clips:

I've found the audio in a longplay. The links are to a time code where the respective voice begins talking.

Narrator
Sounds like Chris Wells' narration demo.

Trill
Rumiko Varnes. Sounds like her Alia.

Cela
Terry Osada as Ayame from Tenchu: Stealth Assassins sounds just like this.

Chilly
This is Gerri Sorrells. Listen to the "narration 1" demo for comparison.

Doctor Dance
Sounds like Jeff Manning as Don Genie.

Emperor Ducker
The Bad Guy. He hates dancing and loves sitting in a giant duck float. Deep voice, so i'm leaning towards Jeff Manning or Tom Clark.

June Baby
It's Rumiko Varnes. Here's Rumiko Varnes as Emilie Arvin from Firefighter F.D. 18.

Like & Y'know
Like is Paul Lucas (compare his Pico)
Y'know is Jeff Manning (compare his Roger Buster)

Family (Father, Mother, Daughter)
Rumiko Varnes is the Mother. Sounds like her Alice Nonomura.
Tom Clark is the Father.
Gerri Sorrels is the Daughter. Sounds like a higher-pitched Chilly. Check her character demo and wait until her English comes on.

Soldiers (Left Soldier, Middle Soldier, Right Soldier)
Some of Ducker's elite guard. They aren't distinct characters in anything but voice. The names i have are provisional and just describe their position in this scene.

None of them are Paul Lucas, at least.

Oh hey, I was thinking of tackling this awhile ago. Anyway.

Trill: Rumiko Varnes (She gets typecast in these lolicon parts quite a lot)

Dr Dance: Jeff Manning

June Baby: Rumiko Varnes (again)

Like: Tom Clark

Y’Know: Jeff Manning (again)

Right Soldier: Tom Clark (again)

That’s off the top of my head since those are the one’s I’ve been able to memorise quite well.

Ya got any clips, or speech links, or at least elaborations of your guesses? Don't get me wrong, i'm not demanding anything, but i'm curious to know your reasoning. In any case, lemme give my thoughts on your thoughts:

Trill: Ignoring the fact Trill is supposed to be a teenager, Rumiko Varnes doesn't get cast as child parts particularly often. It happens, just not any more commonly than adult or teenage roles. That said, i'm with you on this one for the most part.

Dr. Dance: I'm thinking it's denasalized Paul Lucas or perhaps even Tom Clark, but Jeff Manning is fair game. I'm just not familiar with Jeff Manning in any capacity. His voice/ vocal range seems hard to pin down.

June Baby: The only possible way this could be not Rumiko Varnes is if it's Gerri Sorrells. As i'm not very familiar with her, i'm leaning on R-Rumiko.

Like: It's NOT Chris Wells. His voice is just too low for this guy. But this gangster Beavis voice is really throwing me off. Maybe not Jeff Manning either?

Y'know: This one is Jeff Manning, no question. Take it with a grain of salt because of my vocal recognition failures, tho.

Right Soldier: It's gotta be the same person as Like. Not that i can really figure out the voice.

Update: I've added some statements and hyperlinks for 90% of the characters. The soldiers i'm unsure of still, but i'm too tired too earmatch at this moment. In any case, "denasalized Paul Lucas" apparently doesn't exist. His natural voice really does sound that sickly.

Additionally, i think Jeff Manning and Tom Clark to a lesser extent might have deeper ranges than Chris Wells. Alan Gado threw me off, lemme tell ya.

His Rikimaru and Lan Di don't sound nasally at all.

You have a good point there. I was more referring to his natural speaking voice, since i never played thru Shenmue or Tenchu.
