A "Dream cast" is supposed to be a completely original idea that's started from scratch. Sure, a couple of reprisals are fine, but even then they'd still be taking a different approach based on how at least most of the others have changed.

Most of the recent "Dream casts" people are making are ~80% reprisals of roles that voice actors already have. It's like buying a burger at a fast-food restaurant, replacing the wrapping with another one, and selling/giving it to someone else as if you've made it yourself. Why can't people at least try to be original and creative?



Nobody's tight, and that's not even the kind of "Dream cast" this whole section is for...

I don't want to get into this and get in trouble here so I am going to just say this....It was just a light joke at least someone else liked it and replied....On another note OMG new emoticons!!

I am kind of somewhere in the middle here regarding role reprisals as doing it at all? No problem. Having the majority of the casting be role reprisals with barely anything new then whats the point? I admit I can understand what you mean here but like Optimus said there really isn't any rules here so lets just try to relax.

Nobody's arguing/fighting, I'm just appalled at the lack of creativity that goes into some of these "Dream casts" and how some people actually approve of them.

I know ajhz's post was a joke, but I didn't think it was at all funny, nor did it even add anything to the thread. I'm further shocked that a couple of you are somehow enthralled by it.

pokemastanumba, I normally defend your posts but your last one is just so full of hypocrisy I have to say something. In other posts you say people are entitled to their own opinion (your worst characters list) yet you blatantly attack people claiming they lack creativity in their dream casts. All I can say is, dude, what the h*ll?!
