As usual, you seem to be going by the established dub as source material - which is just perfect here, however I am curious that you didn't replace the VA's with younger ones similar to the Japanese for Arise.

Also, I like Brian but he isn't exactly a great choice for Batou. Marc Gibbon or Marc Acheson would be much better.

This is incredibly good. Altho & i know we've talked about this, but I think KMR (or Clancy Brown!) would have been a great voice for Batou. I keep wanting to use cartoon actors as that's how it was done in Japan (whereas Ghibli films use live-actors+ cartoon VA's on the side, ala Disney films).

Maybe Jim Cummings as Aramaki?

Yeah, but I still like to add tv/celeb actors to mix things up a bit, since that's practically the norm here in the US. But since you brought mentioned it (and Jim Cummings as Daisuke) here's an alternate cast for the 2004 tv series made up of strict voice acting talent.
