Hello there, me again.
I'm trying to break into voice acting and while my instructor suggested animation, i know doing that alone, especially without a serious side job or liveaction career isn't quite feasible for beginners. However, the only coach i currently got contact with is an animation guide.
I don't plan on doing much liveaction stuff at the moment, due to the fact i'm basically stuck in the DC area. Furthermore, i can't do a lot of animation due to me being outside of Los Angeles and Dallas.
Does anyone know any good ideas on what to do if you live outside a major "market" city like Atlanta, New York City, Los Angeles, Dallas, Seattle, San Diego, etc.? Any good ideas for finding a decent voice coach remotely?
I do plan on basing a career in animation/ video games/ other narrative work one day as well as doing live action, but for now i'm unable to to that so i'm basically trying to find my footing.
