Mortal Kombat 11 was announced at the Game Awards with an April 23, 2019 release date.

And Patrick Seitz says he isn't voicing Scorpion.

I have no horse in this race other than that Patrick himself has replaced people before so while it's unfortunate it's a part of the business that most actors have seen both sides of.

I don't really get why they'd bring back the old VA's and then just up and replace Patrick as Scorpion without even letting him know, unless the Scorpion in this game is meant to be a different version of Scorpion (I'm not really up on the MK mythos)?

Mortal Kombat did had a big voice cast change for MKX where some of the classic characters voice actors were replaced with more profile actors. Sonya Blade, Sub-Zero etc. I know they were originally going to replace Karen as Kitana with Grey Delise but due to her having a baby at the time only her grunts were used but all speaking dailogue is Karen.

Scorpion could have been recasted like this similarly

The only thing I wasn't happy with, was the choice of music they used in the trailer. Other than that everything else was fine. It's just great to know that we have a release date that's really close.
