Hi! New to this site so sorry in advance for the dumb question ^-^""" I created a project and made the options to have auditions public optional. Now I can't seem to figure out myself how to listen to this 'private' auditions, even though I'm the creator of the project. Help?
Thanks!

Try opening them with audacity and then go to file , export, and then when it saves it will overwrite which is good. The file should be ok then.

What you do is on your project's page, you will need to scroll down to whatever character has private auditions and click Edit Character/Manage Auditions, located at the top of the Submit My Audition box. After that has been clicked, you should be able to listen to any and all auditions for that character. Have fun with your project!

That takes a little more time though. Another way to do it is on Switch Sound File Converter. It's free! You just select the files you want converted and it will do it almost instantaneously. I changed my settings to output the files into the same folder they came from and replace the existing ones to avoid confusion.

Lightbulb Re: Ask A Question

Can someone please explain to me how casting call works? I'm a little confused what a professional, original, licensed, and pre-licensed means. I'm looking for work that pays. I don't want to work on Youtube voice overs or anything like that. Thanks!

Default Some Parts of the Site aren't Working

So basically whenever I click a sound clip, category in the casting call or various other links. nothing happens. It's a miracle I managed to login. Is this just an issue with the site?

Hi! I have a project up that's nearing its deadline, and I'm wondering if I can cast an actor to a role for which he did not audition. For example, I have a character named "Robin" and a character named "Sean." I think an actor who auditioned for "Sean" would be much better suited for "Robin." I asked him if he'd consider auditioning for Robin by posting a comment on his page (since I couldn't figure out how PMs work...), but he hasn't replied yet. So, can I just cast him as a role he didn't audition for? I'm assuming I can't, since I've never heard of this, but a definitive answer would be appreciated. Thanks!
