I'm not too familiar with Hellboy (at least, extensively familiar) but this is a great cast you got here

Thanks man! Even if you aren't too familiar, just generally appreciate the feedback! ^_^ Any standouts from what you know about the series?

Well first off, I appreciate you keeping Pearlman as an option for Hellboy.

As for the other characters, mind if I give a few suggestions?

Abe Sapien - either Chris Cox, Roger Craig Smith, or Cam Clarke
Elizabeth "Liz" Sherman - either Cricket Leigh, Vanessa Marshell, or April Stewart

As for Prof Bruttenholm, he's the one who found and raised Hellboy, right? If so, how about Jim Ward?

Oooh, there are some pretty good options there too; especially like Cam Clarke as Abe and Vanessa as Liz!

Aye aye, Bruttenholm was Hellboy's surrogate father... and Jim Ward is a very solid option; thanks! Been struggling with his casting, as you can tell.

John Dimaggio - Anung un Rama/Hellboy
Michael J. Gough - Abe Sapien

And my cast for the remaining characters are pretty much the same as Lion's Edge. ^^;

DiMaggio's been my number one choice for someone to play Hellboy for a long time. He has a suitably deep voice and could totally handle the tough aspect of the character as well as the softer side.

Anyways, here's my cast:

Hellboy-John DiMaggio
Abe Sapien-Phil Morris
Liz Sherman-Jennifer Hale
Johann Krauss-Dee Bradley Baker
Roger the Homunculus-Rick D. Wasserman
Ben Daimio-James C. Mathis III
Lobster Johnson-Daran Norris
Kate Corrigan-Tara Strong
Princess Nuala-Kari Wahlgren
Tom Manning-Mark Rolston
Professor Trevor Bruttenholm-Corey Burton

Grigori Rasputin-J.B. Blanc
Hecate-Nika Futterman
Prince Nuada-Crispin Freeman
Herman von Klempt-Jim Ward
Baba Yaga-Susanne Blakeslee
Astaroth-Mark Hamill
The Black Flame-Jonathan Adams

Gotta say Lion's Edge, I'm a little disappointed I was beaten to the punch in making this thread

I love a lot of the choices I'm seeing. I don't know if anybody would be as good as Perlman, but I think a DiMaggio Hellboy could be really cool and a good change of pace for him. Blum might be a little light sounding but I wouldn't mind him getting a shot at it

I noticed that both of the choices for Roger so far have been pretty deep and gravelly. I always imagined Roger with a somewhat softer voice myself, but it's a valid interpretation. I think Wasserman and Sobolov would actually make better Hellboys, though that's just me

Just so I'm not just babbling, I'll throw out a few of my own picks for the time being (with heavy editing pending of course)

Liz Sherman - Paget Brewster
Roger - Troy Baker
Ben Daimio - Paul Nakauchi
Rasputin - Brian George
Baba Yaga - Susan Silo

I've been thinking about some casting choices:

How about James Garrett as Professor Broom, since his voice has a similar gravel to the late John Hurt.

Also; since John DiMaggio has been brought up as a choice for Hellboy, how about Phil LaMarr as Abe Sapian?
