Oh your right! I would have never guessed that Hanna Barbera had made the Snorks, although to be honest the animation style does kinda resemble the smurfs. I should have checked Wikipedia but sometimes i just can't be asked.

Dexter's Lab & Powerpuff Girls are Hanna Barbera properties, which were produced in cooperation with Cartoon Network Studios. Also the pilot episodes of both shows are from "What a cartoon" segment on Cartoon Network, which was also produced by Hanna Barbera & was the launching pad for most of the 90's cartoons that came out on the block.
