Rocket laughing at Star-Lord's plan could be analogous to Marvel laughing at DC's "plan" for a cinematic universe.

I like that this trailer is a little more serious in nature and gives you insight as to the plot. It's nit my complaint, but I can just imagine people griping: "This is some dumb, space comedy with a raccoon and tree guy? Marvel has been doing good, but now they're gonna ruin everything." You know those people on the Internet. Marvel has done a good job of handling comedy with serious stuff and I hope that this is no exception. You can't take a talking, gun-toting raccoon and a tree guy too seriously.

Don't know why I really felt the need to say all that. This movie looks good.

DC Entertainment : "I've got a plan"

Marvel Studios : "YOU'VE got a plan?!"

DC Entertainment : "I've got a part of a plan. Release a Superman movie, then run frantically to make something bigger, scramble together a Superman vs Batman movie, cram in a bunch of other DC characters into that, and maybe hopefully possibly kinda sorta make a Justice League movie maybe probably.

Marvel Entertainment : "HAAAHAAAAHAAAA!!!!"

DC Entertainment : "That's a fake laugh."

Marvel Studios : "It's REAL! We release our first movie in 2008, and got Avengers 4 YEARS LATER! You've been scrambling to do this since Batman and Robin and only after we've done it you've finally got the nerve to follow suit."

Kevin Smith : "I like you're movies DC."

DC Entertainment : "Thank you."

Still excited for Justice League though.

Villains on the cover of Empire magazine

Not sure I like the black coming from Ronan's eyes to his chin, but otherwise he looks good.

I'm sure that face design will look better in motion/in a better image. Can't really make out much detail on his face, so guaranteed that it'll look great.

I'm sure you'll be right. It wouldn't make much sense to not see much detail on the lead villain's(I think he's the lead anyway. Well, Thanos is probably technically the "main" villain, but Ronan seems to be the one front and center.) face. In that image it appears as if that black would obstruct his facial expressions. A lot of things look better in motion than they do in a static image.

Ronan looks quite imposing. I think that "armor" padding helps to bulk him up a bit, yet I did read that Lee Pace bulked up for the role. I did read that he's a pretty tall guy which I didn't know so with some bulk he'll look good. He's got to look pretty big if he's gonna look like he can go toe-to-toe with Batista.

Chances are it'll dwindle after it's officially out. Still, it's a good sign.

Yeah, not saying that the rating will automatically tank, but nearly every movie has very high RT ratings prior to its actual release.
