I've seen a few parts of the film before. It's by Production I.G. which worked for a few animations like the Kid Icarus 3DS short animation back in 2012.

Anyways, I really enjoyed the Cyborg 009 series as a kid and I watched the rest while growing up, so it's something that's been by my side for quite a while now.

I've watched like 20 min. of the movie on youtube before, but it was in Japanese with Arabic subs. I'm currently trying to find it with english subs. (Not sure if the film will ever be dubbed english, and I see no point in it to since there's not too many Cyborg 009 fans much anymore. Well, there is me, but I'm not too big of a fan, I just adore the anime and the artwork is cute. )

I'm not too big on Voice casts, cause really, even if it is dubbed English I could careless about the voice overs, instead, I would just enjoy the film as it is.

Besides, I'm not into Voice acting much anymore, but it's still around my interest and sometimes I practice it by reading various characters from my favorite manga (Mostly Tezuka manga. I've also read Shotaro Ishinomori's Cyborg 009 and it was very good. Though, I'm still in the middle of reading it and I'm only on volume.2 XD)

Great idea for a thread! I'm very curious about the dub of RE: 009 Cyborg, although sadly it might have been stalled or withheld due to a rights issue. It's all very vague, and nothing more has been said when friends asked about it. We'll all have to see what happens.
One thing that other fans I know have wanted, that'd only be a dream in all likelihood: A redub of the '80s 009 movie "Legend of the Super Galaxy", with either a reprise of the cast that Sony used for the '01 series (with replacements where necessary) or just done better than the old Toho dub.

Here's my shot at that. Although the '01 cast would be great (with subbing in replacements for retired actors; ie 009, 004, and 008), I decided to try an all-new cast list with few reprisals, just to see what it'd be like...

I can't think of a time I heard Bergman do a natural-sounding old man voice, but my interest is piqued. I also really dig the idea of Hale as 003. You put a lot a actors with extensive ranges and character types in your cast, so they all at least sort of work as is, even the more out there ones

Anyway, a long, long while back I made a Funimation/Dallas cast that I figured I'd stick up here. I feel like there are some picks that I wouldn't make today, but nothing terrible I guess? There are definitely a few of Licha's choices that have me beat, haha
