Default Voice Actors who can voice animals and other creatures

We all know that when it comes to providing vocal effects for animals from scratch, two voice actors come to mind--

-- Frank Welker and Dee Bradley Baker.

But should either one be unavailable, who else can you turn to for giving the creatures a voice?

For me, there's Fred Tatasciore, who voices aliens, and even zombies. He also voiced that monster bear in Scooby-Doo Wrestlemania. So there's one viable candidate.

Scott McNeil, Steve Blum, Jim Cummings and Eric Bauza are the ones that come to mind immediately.

Scott's already got a pretty good resume of creature FX, Some of Steve's growls and snarls sound identical to Frank's, Jim's good at deep-voiced/bear-like growls and whimpers, and Eric's vocal chords are apparently limitless so he could probably whip up any form of growl/roar/snarl/snort.

I'm sure there's plenty of VAs out there who could provide creature vocals, they just don't really get the opportunity to.

Michael J. Gough does some pretty good animal voices (click "Hear Voices" followed by "Animals" to listen):

I watch a ton of anime, so yeah, I also immediately thought of Scott & Steve.

I am rather surprised you didn't mention the most glaringly obvious candidate.

EDIT: Dammit, should've read the OP. My mistake, TylerMirage.

Corey Burton did the vocals for the creatures in the Critters films, not sure if he's done anything else off the top of my head.

Peter Cullen used to do some creature vocals: Predator, Nemesis Enforcer and he's in the credits for Gremlins(the first one anyway). Don't know if he can still do that kinda stuff or if he just chooses not to or doesn't get offered it anymore.

Right, but I was pointing out something I thought Tyler did.

Though I honestly can't think of any others...OH!

Ben Diskin & James Arnold Taylor. GREAT impressionists, Ben specifically showing a ton of gruff, gravelly tones reminiscent of his status of the tenor Steven Blum, & JAT similarly to Corey Burton.

Specifically, I am thinking of Ben's Rhino & Stitch.

& while they are not English-speakers, & thus less familiarity, I'm going to point out that Koichi Yamadera voiced both Mew (even in English), Farfetch'd, Lugia, a bazillion other Pokemon, & is basically a Japanese Corey in terms of his mimicry capabilities.

& in general the Pokemon were voiced by Japanese VA's who are domestic animation actors...thus, overall very good.

Shinichiro Miki (Prince of Persia, Mustang from FMA) - in English even: Staryu, Char-mander/meleon/izard, Zubat/Golbat/Crobat JP-only: Geodude, Turtwig/Grotle/Torterra, Torkoal, Poli-wag/whirl/toed, Marshtomp,

Yuji Ueda, aside from Takeshi/Brock, also voiced Wobbufet, Mr. Mime, Noctowl, Cyndaquil/Quilava/Typhlosion, Treecko/Grovyle/Sceptile, Monferno/Infernape

Ikue Otani - Pikachu!, Goldeen, Starmie, Mime Jr, Corsola

Unsho Ishizuka (current voice of Heihachi in Tekken), aside from Professor Oak & narration - Onix, Weezing/Koffing, Scyther, Forretress, Mamoswine, Muk, Kingler, Gyarados, Swellow, Blastoise, Stunfisk, Steelix

Kenta Miyake - Donphan, Elekid/Electabuzz/Electivire, Sandile, Hariyama, Dusknoir, Aggron, Darkrai, several others I don't recognize

various others that I don't even care to list at this point.
