Default Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics

Another early Saban anime license; as usual, no voice actor credits. Most likely another Intersound job, given the voice cast I can make out (and writing credits, which aren't too indicative based on LA script jobs like Samurai Pizza Cats, which were dubbed in Montreal).

As usual, using the bare bones crystalacids entry as guidance.

Overall:
The narrator is Ted Lehmann. He's got that sagely quality to his voice that makes him easily identifiable; it reminds me a lot of John Baddeley's voice.

Episode 1:
Peasant (0:36)
Peasant's Wife (1:40)
Donkey (7:15, 7:31)
Dog (7:19)
Cat (10:00) Pretty sure that's Michael McConnohie
Rooster (11:53) Robert Axelrod
Head Thief (16:43) Steve Kramer
Lacky (16:47)

Episode 2:
Father (0:25) Steve Kramer
Stepmother (0:33) Melanie MacQueen?
Hansel (1:18, 1:39)
Gretel (1:50) Rebecca Forstadt
Wicked Witch (9:34) Edie Mirman (compare to her as Barsa in "Kiki's Delivery Service")

Episodes 3 & 4:
Princess Leonora (0:47) Wendee Lee?
Guard A (1:16, 1:21)
Henry (2:22) Steve Kramer

Maid (22:36)
King (24:23) Simon Prescott
Agatha (24:56)

Big Bad Wolf (2:54) Steve Kramer
Rabbit (3:16)
Mrs. Merryweather (4:10)
Mr. Woodcutter (5:22)
Red's Grandmother (9:36, 12:41) Edie Mirman
Hunter (11:37)

Episode 6:
Old Man (1:16, 3:38) Jeff Winkless I believe. It's pretty similar to Winkless as the Commissioner in "Lupin III: Mystery of Mamo"
Hans (1:32) Dan Woren
Hans' Mother (2:17)
Franz (2:31, 2:52)
Hans' Father (2:57) Tom Wyner
Inn Girl 1/Helga (10:43, 10:51, 12:43)
Inn Girl 2 (10:44, 11:30, 12:45)
Inn Girl 3 (10:47, 11:41, 13:03)
Priest (14:08) Steve Kramer
Altar Boy (14:10) Tony Oliver
Farmer 1 (15:14)
Farmer 2 (15:17)

Max (1:38)
Puss (1:58) Steve Kramer
Master Shoemaker (5:49) Robert V. Barron
Innkeeper (9:15)
King (11:21) Mike Reynolds. At first thought this was Robert Axelrod, but I'm certain it's Reynolds just going high pitched.
Guard 1 (15:25) Michael McConnohie
Guard 2 (15:31) Robert V. Barron
Princess (27:28, 29:15)
Horse (29:43)

Monday (23:02) Kerrigan Mahan
Tuesday (26:55)

Prince (55:08) Dan Woren
Old Witch (1:02:44)

Episode 14:
Farmer 1 (1:01) Robert V. Barron
Farmer 2 (1:05)
King (1:24) Tom Wyner
Princess (1:31)
Guard (2:07) Milton James
Hero (2:20) Dave Mallow
Muscles (3:25) Pretty sure it's Michael Sorich doing a Mike Reynolds-type voice
Hunter (4:43) Robert Axelrod
Injured Farmer (5:46)
Villager 1 (6:12)
Villager 2 (6:13) Dan Woren
Blindfolded Man (6:19)

Puffer (10:59, 16:19)
Frosty (11:03, 11:29)

Oh hey I've seen some of these before! Lemme just work my way down...

Episode 1:

The donkey is Milton James and the dog is Michael Sorich. The peasant I THINK is Kerrigan Mahan, and his wife is... I wanna say Louise Chamis but I could be totally wrong about that. Drawing blanks on the lackey

Y'know, Sorich was a name I was thinking of when trying to think of a voice for the Dog, but I didn't feel confident enough to stake that claim. Seems obvious to me now, same with James as Donkey.

Default Re: Grimm's Fairy Tale Classics

Alright, time to wrap this up. Well, for now anyway... Until Episodes 25, 39, 46 and 47 are found.

Episode 21:
Commander (1:07)
Ichabod (1:29, 1:48) Kerrigan Mahan
Nicholas (1:46)
Caleb (1:52)
Gargir (3:27) Mike Reynolds
Death (5:01)
Gargoyle 1 (6:57) Jeff Winkless?
Gargoyle 2 (7:03)
Gargoyle 3 (7:11)
Beelzebub (7:26) Tom Wyner? Hard to really tell with the effect, and the bad warping quality isn't helping.

Episode 22:
The King (1:09) Simon Prescott?
Genevieve (1:18) Wendee Lee?
Sister 1 (1:29)
Sister 2 (1:30)
Messenger (4:44) Robert Axelrod
Villager (4:50) Richard Epcar
Villager 2 (4:51)
Nobleman (5:18) Robert V. Barron
Peter (8:26) Eddie Frierson
Villager (8:32) Richard Epcar
Tall Man/Demon (12:30)
Little Man/Demon (12:32) Kerrigan Mahan
Dancing Prince (14:56) Robert Axelrod

Episodes 23 & 24:
King (1:14) Mike Reynolds
Soldier 1 (1:24) Jeff Winkless
Soldier 2 (1:34)
Queen (1:45)
Madam Pompadour (3:25)
Algernon (3:31) Kerrigan Mahan
Gwendolyn (3:34)
Griselda (3:41)
Phoebe (3:43)
Cinderella (4:10) Lara Cody
The Prince (9:35) Tony Oliver

Ignat (14:42)
Servant (15:58)
Cart Driver (20:16) Richard Epcar
Treecutter (35:50) Epcar again

Episode 25:
Can't find this episode, apart from a bad Russian voice-over dub. If you can make anyone out under the Russian, let me know.

Episode 26:
Hank (1:07)

Beast (2:58) Might be Tom Wyner
Prince (20:01)

Episode 28:
Frederick (0:24)

Witch's Daughter (3:49)
Witch (4:55)
Miller (17:47)

Episode 29:
Rapunzel's Mother (1:28)
Rapunzel's Father (1:47) Kirk Thornton, I believe. I think he was in the business by the time of dubbing. I don't really think it's Ardwight Chamberlain (Kirk's soundalike); Thornton has more of a gravel quality to his voice; whereas Chamberlain has more of a whispery quality.
Witch (5:15)
Rapunzel (10:02, 10:33)

Kid 2 (2:50)
Kid 3 (2:51)
Simon (3:16)
Prince (3:22) I'm going to say this is Frank Catalano. Watching Robotech, I've noticed Catalano sounds like Tony Oliver, but kind of lacks something that completely makes me sure it's Oliver.
Cook (4:16) Steve Kramer
Servant 1 (7:11)
Servant 2 (7:14)
Old Servant (14:07)

So, I took another listen and did some digging into some more roles, and now I have an answer where I heard Bluebeard's voice before; Aritomo Yamagata in Episode 3 of "Rurouni Kenshin". So yes, I was correct in guessing Simon Prescott and was overthinking things as usual.

Ah, this show. It may well have been the very first anime series I ever watched, back when it aired on Nickelodeon back in 1989-90. I never realized its Japanese origin until many years later, or that the voice actors that I heard would show up in hundreds of other shows over the next 30 years.

I'll be glad to try to help you with this one when I have some time to watch a few episodes. Hopefully, I can identify a few roles for the entry.
