He's clearly not phoning it in at all, but unfortunately he's directed to use this weird "Yusei Fudo" impression. And it really brings down his performance...

I kind of feel the same as you here. I didn't hate it but at the same time I can't claim it's my favourite voice in the Bang Zoom dub so far.

Yeah. J. Micheal Tatum in particular is freaking fantastic as Zarbon so it's a real shame...
