Both series had music by Saban and Levy, and had the involvement of C&D, Jean Chalopin's post-DIC studio - he was on better terms with Saban after 1990 than Andy Heyward was, co-produced some shows...

Among other shows, about half the dubs produced by Saban fit this criteria. (Though Bob in a Bottle and Jungle Tales were produced in Montreal and aired on Canadian TV.)
