I think the filter is irrelevant to the point Cat was making. With or without it, he does still sound stoic

I was just disagreeing as I genuinely think it's not a good idea. Disagreement != Disrespect. Nothing, be it a hypothetical dream cast or an actual voiceover performance, should be held on a pedestal, because life doesn't move on without disagreement and critical thought. But I will concede that I should be more in depth as to why I think this isn't a good idea. Even if the performance is tonally in line with Shadow I still don't think the voice itself is. With the filter it... has the filter. Without the filter I just don't see it working. Andrew Francis is a good actor but I've never found him able to hide the youthful quality of his voice, and Shadow sounding young would be very distracting and unfitting. And that's totally fine because the notion of an actor needing to sound "distinct" in every single one of their roles is misguided. Shadow just isn't a role that would play to Andrew's strengths as an actor.
