Well maybe there is that one person you thought just nailed a certain role and you'd want them to reprise it. I know for me even though I could see Yuri Lowenthal or Vic Mignogna voicing Spider-Man, I honestly still think Josh Keaton got the role perfect and want to see him keep reprising the role. That's what Dreamcasts is about to me. Its about who you want to see in a certain role. It doesn't matter if someone has already played the role, you just want them to continue the role. Not to sound insultive (to anyone) but I'm not going to place Tom Kenny as Wolverine because he's never played the role, I'm going to place Steve Blum in the role because I like him best in it.

Actually I was referring to keeping the same voice actors for a majority of roles in a "dream cast" of anyone's. If >50% of all the roles are simply recasts of the same actors that already have them, it's really not much of a "dream cast" now is it?

It is a "DREAM" cast - there are no rules to this. It doesnt matter who has or has not already played the parts. This is ridiculous pokemastanumba1 - a dream cast can be whatever would be the 'best' cast in someones opinion, stop trying to insert requirements or rules into something that should never have any. It doesn't matter if it makes sense to you or not its all about other people's opinions!

I've been thinking about this for a while ever since I said Bluewater should dub the upcoming Disk Wars anime.
(Won't include a lot of Marvel characters due to Bluewater lot having a HUGE cast like other companies)

HEROES:
Iron-Man: Phil Fulton
Captain America: Roger Rhodes
Thor: William Scott
Hulk: Dave Pettitt
Nick Fury: Jonathan Love
Wasp: Carol Anne Day
Black Widow: Carol Anne Day

VILLAINS:
Loki: Roger Rhodes
Doctor Doom: Gerald Matthews
Enchantress: Nikkita Bradette
Executioner: Jonathan Love

OTHER:
J. Jonah Jameson: Dave Pettitt
Deadpool: Luca Gilbertson

Re: Marvel/DC Dream Casts

Query: What does anyone think of these casting ideas.

Marvel:

Ant-Man-Alan Tudyk
Wasp-Danica McKellar
Black Panther-Khary Payton
Mystique-Hynden Walch (using a variation of her Blackfire voice)
Sif-Jennifer Hale (using her Bastila Shan voice)
Deadpool-Jason Spisak
Cable-Adam Baldwin or John Cygan (using his Canderous Ordo voice)

DC:

Harley Quinn-Lauren Tom (since John DiMaggio's already voiced the Joker)
Starfire-Ashley Eckstein
Raven-Kari Wahlgren (a more demonic demeanor version of her Jane Foster voice)
Etrigan the Demon-Gregg Berger
Morgaine le Fey-Kari Wahlgren (using her Enchantress voice)
Mad Hatter-Greg Ellis

At the moment, all I got is:

Spider-Man- Chris Cox (I think he'd deliver Spideys one liners really well. Plus, he's had some prior experience with Marvel characters) or Orion Acaba (He could provide a nice youthful tone to the role. Also, much like Chris, he can deliver some great zingers)

Deadpool- Matthew Perry (Could I BE any more gun happy?!!) or Orion Acaba again (he already played him in live action, so why not?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Avx0vlVP6Zk)

Re: Marvel/DC Dream Casts

After watching Berserk I've come up with new voices for the DC Trinity.

Marc Diraison as Superman
Carrie Kerranen as Wonder Woman
Kevin T. Collins as Batman

You can thank the dub bloopers for the last part. But really I can see Marc and Carrie making awesome an Superman and Wonder Woman.

I recently came up with an interesting thought: what does anyone think of Phil Morris as the Silver Surfer using his Saint Walker voice? I think that would be an interesting casting choice.

How would JB Blanc sound as the Joker? I can see him doing a Mark Hamill impression.
