I converted one of them to GIF and it looks a little weird and grainy, but it's under the limit now.

I don't know if this is the right method to use, though.

I just realized that some of my pictures are barely over the 19.4KB limit. Do you know of a way I can slightly degrade the quality? They're already in JPEG, and I don't know how to further compress them. This is my first time editing pictures for something like this.

I have another quick question. This may seem like a no-brainer, but I have to be sure. When I submit a request, do I need to provide a headshot of an actor if they already have a picture and page here?

Stephen Russell is in it and I think he's the one guy who actually has a page on here, so I'm not sure if I need to provide one. Should I just say "Yo, it's this guy here." and link to his page or something?

Again, I'm sure the answer should be obvious, but sometimes I have trouble with reading things very literally.

As you can tell from that one picture, his primary position on the game was as an artist/animator. He still works on VFX in Hollywood (and some occasional acting in short films), but he has almost no public presence whatsoever.

I already cropped the last image to the size as described in the forums, so I'll just go with that one. Maybe something better will turn up one day.

Okay, pictures of this guy are very, very rare. I think these two are the only ones that may exist where you can see his face well, but they both have some filters and one has some text.

Which do you think would be more appropriate for the site? I could probably crop the text out of the first one and just have an extreme close-up if the colors on the second are too crazy.

Cool, thanks. One more question: would a Dropbox link be an acceptable method for providing images?

I'm thinking about submitting a game request at some point, and I wanted to ask you about images. It's an old game with really compressed, pixelated cutscenes. Would it be a problem if I used an image I found that had been personally enhanced or modified?

For an example, it might be like that Resident Evil intro I showed you that had been run through that AI upscale technology. It'd be a lot cleaner, detailed, and easier to make out, but it wouldn't be 100% the original image.

Other sources could be used where someone just removed some of the compression from the video instead of an AI adding new detail to the image. I'm not currently tech savvy enough to use all of the proper terminology, but I hope you get my point.

I just wanted to know if it'd be okay to use something like that, or if it might be considered improper as the image has technically been altered.
