LOL, well it is Florida after all.

Eat your heart out Bang Zoom, you're not gonna get Alpha and Omega anymore. I'll keep an eye on this one, hopefully it has full(ish) credits.

    Hmm. Not sure, I'm sorry.

FWIW I showed it to NCZ and she thought it was Tim Hamaguchi, which is something I can't comment on but I felt like I should share that, you would know better than me.

At the very least it's not Miami.

Unfortunately the volume is too low for me to be certain. Like the guy at the timestamp you're linking sounds Griffin Burns-esque but I really can't tell, my laptop's sound is not the best. Out of curiosity who was the VA?
  4. SNaG
I think so. Pretty sure black-haired guy is Jason Kesser.

I found Chris Jahn's facebook (don't judge) and apparently the Heidi series on Netflix is done in Miami. Nightmare checked for me and no credits but we know Chris Jahn is the grandpa. Chris Jahn vs Chris Plummer.
  6. SNaG
I thought so too. But Lissa Grossman was apparently in it and she's still active! This pool is like the wild west.

HOLY CRAP! ACTUAL CONFIRMATION THAT MIAMI DID NINJA ROBOTS That's something I saw around but since the only source was some rando on Wikipedia saying "I'm in Ninja Robots" it wasn't for sure confirmed. I think this taken together does confirm it. This truly is the arc of the covenant. Now to find out who the hell else was in it.

Thanks for the links, I'll add them to my to do list. I'll probably do Obsolete first since I've been letting that sit, lol.

You never know with Miami, honestly. I'm sure people shop there all the time for cheap dubs.

Galaxy Brain. Sega is moving Sonic to Miami.

no i don't think this will actually happen but can you imagine

Yeah, before the recent rash of anime dubs, I've known Miami as the home for extremely obscure Euro (mostly French) and LatAm cartoons. I don't know how these dubs make any money. If they air on TV or get on some streaming service, it's certainly not here.

Spirou is actually a fairly well-known character in the French world. His comic is kind of a rival to Tintin. When Nelvana's Tintin cartoon was airing in the '90s, Spirou got his own series. That was produced in Montreal and while it aired on TV in Canada, it's unfortunately fallen into obscurity over the years. I'll remember the credits, though. The Dubsters!
