Do you know why Marz Timms is now credited as Jax?

I know it isn't your thing, but given your thoughts on the portrayal of this character, I thought you might want to see this. It's Elizabeth Bower playing Impedimenta (and others) in the Mansions of the Gods. I was wondering how you'd rate this.

And don't worry, I'm not going to ask you to make a clip of it. I'm happy to make any further clips myself (once I figure out how), and in any case, I'd want it to be roughly the same as Saffron Henderson's (there isn't enough here for that).

Agreed. I'm hoping that enough people will (constructively) speak up about this and he'll work out the issues there. Jon seems so anxious when people don't like something, but this is really not that big of a deal. Working on his pacing and making scenes a little more concise is something he could handle way more easily than, say, putting out an episode with an enormous plot hole and then having to doing major damage control in the next episode to patch things up.

I think one of my biggest issues with it can be summed up by comparing two scenes.

Remember that scene in season six when Chief and Arbiter were briefly Tosers, and they encountered that player who was saying the N word? Compare that to the scene of the two of them arguing with that whiny, sensitive player and the Toser in the latest episode.

Jon obviously made both of those scenes to make a kind of social commentary, but he was able to make his point with that scene in season six with far more natural writing, and it was just as long as it needed to be. He's come a long way with his cinematography, but I think he's lost his touch in other areas, and I'm kind of worried that he's not going to make use of the criticism he's been getting.

There have been others here and there bringing up these problems. One guy was talking about it during the stream, but Jon seemed to kind of write him off because he perceived him as not giving him credit for anything good he did in the episode. And because such a small minority bring it up, even on the videos, I feel like he's not going to make any attempt to try to improve on his pacing.

He did say that he had a lot of things to set up in this episode, which is true, so hopefully things will pick up from now on, but I don't know.
