"Let's go get 'em" is Matthew. That's what he tends to sound like in his more adult roles (as when he plays everyone's Dad).

Matthew is the other possibility for the cop, but this is where the two of them sound very similar (remember 17?). If I had more dialogue, I could tell very quickly which one it is, but as I don't...

Finished it, but didn't find anything definite of Doug - although I did find David doing his Elvis impression. As for the possible sightings, they are the cop in Ep. 41 (7.58), and the MC in Ep. 89 (10.37, 22.32, this may be Allan). There was also a third, but I can't seem to find it.

I recall that Lyoko Decoded was implied that Doug was Xana (although his interview was largely unaired). We agreed it's David when he impersonates Jeremy, but when Xana possesses people later on (see Ep. 89, 10.13), it sounds like there's more than one voice. Part of that is obviously the digitising process, but it makes me wonder if Doug is in there as well. Trouble is, I can't tell due to the heavy effects, but it's the only thing that seems to explain these seeming contradictions.

I'll finish the series first, and if I don't hear anyone who sounds like him, I'll get back to you with those lines.

Yeah, they did. Sharon, Jodi, Barbara, Matthew, Mirabelle, David (and there's a LOT of David), and Allan. And, of course, Paul shows up uncredited as Franz Hopper, but there's no doubt it's him.

I starting to wonder about the validity of Doug Rand being in Code Lyoko, because I've almost finished the series, and, apart from one or two possible isolated lines, I can't find him anywhere!

However, when it comes to the comedy, I really miss some of the editing tricks and gimmicks from the first two seasons. Like how when Chief would get angry, his speech would speed way up. Nowadays, Jon still writes some amazing lines and he's still fantastic when it comes to Arbiter and Chief's dynamic, but I miss the bombastic energy the first few seasons had.

I also miss when Jon wrote more cartoony characters for him to voice. He's not much of a voice actor, and he's pretty weak on most of the dramatic stuff, but he was truly hilarious with his parodies of the shrieking kids and "MLG" guys and all the other online gaming staples.

I'm not sure how they'd rank if I watched them all again now, but when I last watched them, season 5 was my favorite. I think it was the most appealing one tonally. I like seasons 6 and 7, but I was a little bothered with how dark he made it. Taking a show that started out as a vulgar yet charming satire of online gaming culture, where he lampooned all kinds of different topics in a way heavily reminiscent of South Park, and turning it into a very dark Breaking Bad style drama was quite a leap, even though I could appreciate a lot of what he was doing.

Season 5 was a nice mix of a story you could take seriously, while also being charming and vulgar, and not being super gritty and depressing.

It's kinda hard for me to imagine that it's already been nearly three years since it started. But as someone who enjoys Hunter x Hunter and Berserk, I'm used to that kind of thing.

By the way, which seasons are your favorites?

Nice to see another Arby 'n' the Chief fan on here. Have you been keeping up with season 8?
