I've been great, thanks for asking. How about you???

Eh, don't worry. You can check that dream cast anytime (and if you're familiar with the Japanese G1 Transformers cartoons, even better).

Yeah, well, they mostly reunite actors for conventions or these kind of featurettes (although conventions are a lot more frequent than featurettes).

Say, you should check this out. It's a really interesting featurette:

Say, have you ever watched the Japanese Transformers cartoons (Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory and Zone)????

I did an 80's dream cast a while ago for these cartoons, in which I said to myself "what if these cartoons were dubbed using radio veterans along with the frequently used talent of the day, ala Battle of the Planets???". I even put Alan Dinehart as recording director:

I've been fine, thanks for asking.

And don't worry, better late than never!!!

    Oh, yes. That's a shame.

And yup, I love these guys so much that I like investigating about them.

I finally got some spare time to check episodes 15 and 16 of Battle of the Planets.

    Microfilm Mystery:
    Commander Juggler - Ronnie Schell
Lab Technician #1 - Bill Woodson
Lab Technician #2 - Alan Dinehart
Lab Technician #3 - Casey Kasem
    Spectra Trooper - Alan Dinehart

    The Alien Beetles:
    Commander Kinatch - Michael Rye
    Kid #1 - Wendy Young?
    Kid #2 - Janet Waldo
    Kid #3 - Wendy Young?

Oh, yes. "Not even a recently disturbed Hula skirt!!!". Yes, I must admit that even though the ADV dub didn't have all the actors in the room, which is the reason why I prefer BOTP, it also managed to inject a lot of fun into a lot of scenes. And yes, calling Demon 5's song "Battle of the Planets" was a pretty clever nod.

Yes, that's also a favorite of mine because of Tiny having a fairly important role. He's my favorite character, and most of my favorite episodes feature him either having a pivotal role, or giving hilarious one-liners. There is a line in there that I still quote whenever I'm eating:

"Gee, I'm right in the middle of a very important mission, Chief!!!"

Oh, and I think you should check these two Battle of the Planets scenes...

Scene 1 (it starts at 5:12 and it ends at 5:49):

Scene 2 (it starts at 5:27 and it ends at 6:19):

Tiny is just so HILARIOUS!!! Director Alan Dinehart really seems to be having fun in the role.

Heard of William Ross, I believe he also voice direct Dynasty Warriors 2 and Ys 3? Dynasty Warriors 2 was okay if a bit a cartoonish at times but Ys 3 is only so so, according to a voice actress before guests are wiped out, she didn't know what her character look like

But I have to admit that I noticed a lot of widely despised dub are recorded in Japan, the sad thing is they can do a good work as seen in Tekken 5 but for some reason they usually get mediocre directing like in the Super Galaxy film

Oh, yes. Old-time radio shows are just priceless gems which need to be preserved for posterity. Some of them have been lost in the mists of time, sadly, but others have survived the tests of time really nicely.
