Heheheh. I remember this one, Nelson is really great as Mr. Fisher, here. I also remember Gale Gordon's "One Lou--- One Letter" flub.

I always enjoy Our Miss Brooks.

Nelson did appear in some other episodes of this show, like another one about a match between Madison and Clay City (although this one was a football match). He played a hitchhiker in that one.

Yeah, that was awesome!!! Mary had some of the most hilarious flub moments ever!!!

Oh, yes!!! I think I've heard those. I love how Blanc's desperation increases due to the fact that there's no one in the train. I also remember a radio episode in which Blanc started singing while doing his routine, and Mary and Phil Harris started dancing. You should have heard Benny go "MARY!!! PHIL!!! CUT THAT OUT!!! STOP DANCING!!!" It was hilarious!!!! XD

Oh, that's a must listen for any old time radio fan!!! That's just CLASSIC!!!! Don Wilson rarely flubbed his lines, but this was one of those rare times and the result was HILARIOUS!!! "Who do you think I am, DREER POOSON????!!!" LOL

Nelson really took advantage of that flub!!!! XD

Say, regarding our re-enactment on the Frank Nelson page, here's an interview that you will really enjoy:

Yes, well, the radio drama had really wonderful performances and excellent casting. Oh, and yes, Michael Hordern is just excellent as Gandalf. You can hear it here:

I have a lot of favorite performances, some of them are Ian Holm as Frodo, Michael Hordern as Gandalf, Robert Stephens as Aragorn, Peter Woodthorpe as Gollum, Michael Graham Cox as Boromir, Douglas Livingstone as Gimli and Peter Howell as Saruman.

The 68 Hobbit is decent, IMO, but it's a lot better than the Mind's Eye adaptations. Paul Daneman was extremely adorable as Bilbo.

Say, have you ever heard the 1981 Lord of the Rings radio drama???
