That's all understandable. I can't believe we might actually be getting the continuation of Griffith's surprise appearance before Guts in less than three weeks. They may switch to Rickert and leave that as a cliffhanger for a bit for all I know, but I've been really excited at Guts and Griffith interacting at all for the first time in ages. I've been waiting for that almost as fervently as I was waiting for Casca's return.

I'm relieved to at least know something for sure this soon. I thought it would be another year of this hanging in the air.

Berserk is coming back and is being supervised by a close friend of Miura who claims that he was told how the story is going to unfold. He and Miura's assistants have found memos and character designs. He says that they're going to continue by following Miura's story plan and use every detail that he shared with him that he can remember. He's not going to try to fill in blanks or elaborate on story details that weren't complete or he can't remember clearly.

Hopefully, he and Studio Gaga have everything they need to finish the story. I suppose I'm sort of nervous that because of his policy going forward, some of the story threads and character arcs that my have otherwise happened will be truncated a bit, but I definitely believe it's the most responsible, respectful, and practical thing he could do to ensure the series finds some closure.
