That's right. And even though they didn't reprise their roles, I was glad to see them making guest appearances on the show.

Gale Gordon was pretty awesome in everything he did (then again, the same goes for every actor who was in radio). My favorite roles of his are Flash Gordon and Mr. Conklin in "Our Miss Brooks" (both radio and TV shows).

Incidentally, I Love Lucy was also a radio spin-off. On radio, it was originally called My Favorite Husband and it starred Lucille Ball and Richard Denning. But when the show came to TV, Denning was replaced with Desi Arnaz and the show was renamed.
