Oh, yes. The Fort Max toy is pretty lovely, but the Brave Max deco is just AWESOME!!! I really love the City at Night feel of it, because it's pretty appealing.

Oh, yes. I also wish Brave Max had been released by Hasbro, and I've heard that he was going to be a FAO Schwartz exclusive, but it got cancelled.

But anyway, I know they're planning to release a new Fort Max toy, I just know they plan to, because they did some Fort Max artwork for the Titans Return line:

Say, AV. My comic store was doing a giveaway yesterday, and I got out with 5 City Transformers!!!

These are the ones I got:

    Metroplex (Encore reissue)
    Fortress Maximus (Encore reissue)
    RID Brave Maximus

Man, those boxes were heavy (especially the one with the two Max toys), but it was worth it. I played with them all day yesterday before putting them on display. And golly, these guys sure come in handy for displays because you can put a lot of smaller toys in them, and that really clears some space (especially since my shelves were almost full). I'm displaying them on a room in my attic with a large table on it, and they're sitting proudly on the table along with some other Transformers in them travelling around the city, checking the weather or getting repaired.

True, though I can't help but feel that Spoiled's acting was rather over-the-top even by my standards, and I'm usually pretty fond of that sort of thing.

Oh, yes. Even those little hints didn't make anyone think "Hey, isn't this taken from another show???".
  5. CatsTuxedo
Hey, after Twilight's coronation, I'm willing to believe the show might take its characters in any way it wants
  6. Starscreamsfan
    Pretty interesting to hear that.

When I was 3 (yes, I'm a year older than you), I remember that I started watching reruns of G1 as well as Beast Wars (in it's original run), and I got hooked ever since. So I've managed to watch BW, BM and 2001 RID in their original runs as well as G1 reruns.

A lot of kids may have thought that it wasn't Transformers related too, because the characters look pretty different (they have a lot of organic parts instead of being just metallic).

    Oh, that sounds rad!!!

Man, how the years go by. I was just a little squirt when Beast Wars was around.

It's also gonna be the 30th anniversary of the Transformers movie!!!!
  8. Starscreamsfan
That sounds awesome!!! I really wish I could go.

Oh, yes. It's hard not to imagine Ermey's voice for the IDW Kup, I mean, it's just a perfect fit.

Well, I've heard Willows' normal voice, and it kinda sounds like a less raspy version of John Stephenson's Kup, so I think he would be a pretty boss fit.
  10. Starscreamsfan
Hmm, Willows would fit pretty snuggly.

Ermey is the voice I imagine for the cigar smoking drill sergeant version of the IDW comics.

Kinda funny how I imagine Ermey's voice in the IDW stuff and now you mention him as a potential choice, what a coincidence.
