Hey! Um, I wanted to open an account with Voices.com. They need my phone number. Is that for the client or is Voices.com going to call me or something? I just wanted to know because I don't know where on my profile, they would put my phone number.

When you think about it, most voice info on the internet can't be verified to visitors who want confirmation.

Good for us since we'll be leading the initiative to confirm voice info.

Since we'll be uploading DVD credits into the database and linking resumes, official voice actor posts from facebook and other legitimate sources sometime soon (when Foxwolf completes it) there's no need to rely on any other voice site from this point on.


Animenewsnetwork, imdb, wikipedia, tv.com, crystalacids, voicechasers, individual wikias, and any other fansite or self submit info site will NOT be allowed to be used as a source.

Why link another (rival) voice site when they can't provide proof to the public themselves and when we can give better REAL sources?

This website is owned and produced by Dekiru Productions and is run by a group of dedicated volunteers.

Similar situation to our site (we're all volunteers), and although most of their info is accurate there's still no source given to verify the credits. Although SOME voice actors have submitted credits themselves (as mentioned in the Special Thanks section) it doesn't mean every voice actor on that site approved all info on their profile.

Imdb is a business too (people actually pay them to put up resumes, headshots, etc) and they still have volunteers and a lot of the info on that site is not accurate.

Just because an established site lists info doesn't mean you should trust them completely.

Yet they have no source given... They're no better than imdb, wikipedia or tv.com so I'll remove the credit (again).

In the future when the credit verifying system is completed you WON'T be allowed to use any of those sites as sources. Just an FYI.
