Oh thanks, that will be interesting to watch, hope it means he'll do the traditional role soon.

What's your source for Ian McDiarmid in Angry Birds? Want to look into that...

You should listen to this. My gramps used to play this particular broadcast every Christmas:

Are you doing a Hagrid compare as well, and you are interested in doing Wizard Of Oz or the Star Wars ones that haven't been made? I both Hagrid and Wizard Of Oz requested, once I fit that into my schedule.

I have to say, your Saruman voice reminds me a lot of Peter Howell (Saruman in the 1981 radio drama), which is awesome, because Howell is actually my favorite Saruman.

As for Gandalf, you sound a lot like William Squire, my second favorite Gandalf after Michael Hordern, which is great.

I would have loved to have seen Kerr when Saruman became Sharky, that would have been awesome.

I personally liked Bakshi's Sam design, and Michael Scholes' performance was fittingly charming and adorable (only surpassed by Bill Nighy in the radio drama, who also did a great job). And yes, Scholes would have done just great in part 2.

Philip Stone was just epic as Theoden (that high-pitched warcry during the final battle was just epic awesomeness). Jack May did an awesome job with the last speech in the radio drama, however.

Hey, mac. Check this out. Not only does it have a link to an article, but it also has some text from it and a brief rundown of my thoughts about the LOTR adaptations.
