I ask that because of our Hitman conversations from a while back. I now finally have a PC, and I'm planning on buying Codename 47 at some point and trying to finally finish playing all the Hitman games (except for Hitman 2016, which I refuse to buy unless IO reverses the always-online parts of the game). Since it sounded like you play on PC at least a little, I thought there was a chance you have Steam.

Do you have Steam? I'd like to friend you on there if you do.

Between the different conversations I was having around the time, and my frequent breaks from the site, I completely forgot about your playthrough of Spider-Man and our conversation. Sorry about that.

I assume you finished the game weeks ago, but if you want to talk about it anymore, feel free.

I do enjoy the music for this game. Daran's performance as Mysterio is very enjoyable. It might be my second favorite performance of Daran's in the PS1 games, though I do also REALLY like his Shocker.

Yeah, their chemistry was excellent, and the writing was great, too. I love how in this game, Venom is so funny and good at quips that he's pretty much a match for Spidey, and since he usually uses humor to anger his opponents, the fact that Venom is outperforming him in that area pretty much infuriates him. They're like two sides of the same coin. Venom's a guy who loves being evil and tormenting the guy who keeps ruining his life. He's having fun, but he's also a diabolical force to be reckoned with.

I love how Rino Romano makes Spidey sound like a real person under the mask. He sounds like someone who you believe is actually a pretty dorky and fun-loving guy under the mask, and the way he uses humor and makes quips both when he's just having fun beating the crap out of bad guys and mutant lizards, AND in order to cope with stressful situations makes feel so real and likable,

Yeah, to be honest, outside of the nostalgia and the fondness I have for it and the characters, voice acting, and presentation, the game itself doesn't hold my interest much any more. It's a pretty solid game, but it's a very simplistic game and it's not as mechanically satisfying as it was when I was a kid.

The Rhino fight is a pretty good example of why. Just pretty straightforward, linear, and not a lot of complexity or challenge.

I do have to say that the Venom levels were easily my favorites, though. Daran Norris' performance is just endlessly entertaining. Funny and scary wrapped in one. I also find the sewers levels to be some of the more creative and interesting parts as well.

Yeah, I really like Jennifer Hale's Black Cat. Mostly because in this game, she got just the right amount of "sultry" without overdoing it. She has the sexy sound Black Cat should have while still sounding down-to-earth enough that you can believe she's more than some generic femme fatale. A few of the other actresses lay it on so thick that they practically sound like hookers to me (not that I've ever met a hooker... lol). Holly Fields was really good, too.
