    Fair enough

There should be less of a stigma for people just sit quietly and not to say a thing to each other

I just wanna see a giant monkey slap some dinosaur-bats in the face, okay?

Ha ha, I know that feeling. With me, small talk only has two potential outcomes: 1.) nothing to say or 2.) endless rants about how my industry is stupid and infantile.

    Oh, you and your dinosaurs...

Dang it, can't say my life has been any different. That's why I don't like small/casual talk, I never have anything to say/talk about. Name a meaningless popculture subject and I talk your ears off, but just my own every day life gives me nothing to work with.
  4. TylerMirage
Yep, you guessed it. Godzilla vs. Kong.

I've just been living' the dream. Eat, work, sleep, repeat. Moved cities, ate some more, slept some more, worked some more. Nothing too riveting.

What have you been up to?

I hope you and yours have too

Hmm... One movie that you are interested to see? There's no new Transformers or Jurassic Park coming out, so is it... Godzilla vs. Kong?!

The movie going experience hasn't lost it's "touch" for me yet, since people know that I'm a huge movie buff and like to give me tickets as easy gifts, so I can have nice balance of seeing the safe blockbuster franchises I can be fairly certain I like and more "risky", but interesting looking smaller stuff. Admittedly, all the movies are still being delayed, so I should just sit and wait. This is a major case of first world problems, but it feels good to get them out X`D

But please, I don't want to nominate this discussion. I would love to know what you have been up to
  6. TylerMirage
    Pretty much: laughing:

Good to hear you and yours have stayed healthy.

Ha ha, right? I went to the theatres once in 2020, as opposed to my usual 15-25 times. My theatre-going enthusiasm was already waning in the past few years, and 2020 might be the final nail in the coffin. There's only one movie in 2021 that I'd even consider going out in public to the theatre for, and even that one's not a necessity since I'll 100% be buying it on Blu-Ray when it comes out anyway.

Oh, man, shift work sucks. Not that my words mean much, but routines, man. Establish a routine. Establish a routine that works and flows with your shifts. Don't let work dominate life, since it's all about work/life balance. Easier said than done, I know.

Ah, so the usual? I don't want to complain too much, since the current situation hasn't hit me too badly (everybody close to me has stayed healty AFAIK), the biggest personal hit being missing going to the movies. I do miss my certain hobbies, which I couldn't practice even if there wasn't pandemic, since my current job is shift work, which makes hobbies with strick schedules impossible.

Every day I wake up screaming, but God doesn't listen. But other than that, I'm fine. How are you, Good Doctor?

Hi, how are you doing? Haven't been able to be active here (although I do lurk around every now and then) and felt like catching up a little, since we always got along so well

Don't worry about it. In my book, we're cool =)
