Oh boy it's BTVA Awards time again, let's get straight on with it.

Voice Actor of The Year:
Looking through the list Corey Burton had a pretty good year. Besides his usual Disney characters he was totally rocking it in Niko & The Sword of Light and came back as both N Tropy and N. Gin for Crash's glorious return.

Eric Bauza got to show off his unbelievably incredible range once again with his great roles on shows such as Transformers: RID, TMNT, Puss in Boots and he even got to appear alongside some of Toronto's talent too.

In other news Steve Blum made a glorious return back to game dubbing reprising Yata in the HD .hack GU collection, Dee Bradley Baker shared the spotlight with Frank Welker (and Gordon Ramsey) in Smurfs: The Lost Village, Kevin Michael Richardson got a chance to play Floronic Man and so did Khary Payton with Rafiki in The Lion Guard, Tom Kenny is.... well Tom Kenny and Trevor Devall surprised me with his NYAV Post debut in Hanazuki.

All of these actors rocked it this year but I'm giving my vote to Eric Bauza. Such an amazing person and his ever changing voices always amuse me though Steve Blum's a close second.

Voice Actress of The Year:
The knockout performances come in thick and fast as Ashleigh Ball returning as her MLP characters rocked it on the big screen, Debi Derryberry made her welcome return as Coco while Erica Lindbeck made me tear up as Celica and then brightened me up as Futaka and Windblade.

Grey Griffin chilled as High Preistess, Jessica DiCicco partied as Hanazuka, Kari Wahlgren was on fire as Starfire, Tara Strong managed to work with both Toronto and Vancouver talent in one year and Tress MacNeille's always a blast.

Overall though my vote's going over to Erica Lindbeck who gave a tremendous performance in Fire Emblem Echoes, easily one of the best of this year.

Breakthrough Voice Actor of the Year:
From the days of Final Fantasy XIII to his own show Andre Robinson managed to pull off Neko very well and also showed up in Blue Sky's Ferdinand, Anthony Gonzalez gave a very believable and heartfelt performance in Coco and while I'm not too familiar with Bravest Warriors I did hear Sam Lavagnino in Horizon: Zero Dawn.

On the adult side Anthony Ingruber made a great debut as the Joker and Greg Chun quickly became a well known RPG voice actor name, even managing to take over Jason Adkins as Ike.

My vote for this goes to Greg Chun.

Breakthrough Voice Actress of the Year:
Don't really know too much about any of these actors but my vote is going to Kimiko Glenn who has had a very promising start in both DuckTales and Voltron.

Being a big Steve Blum fan, I felt obligated to vote for him, even if I don't hear him as much since he's often in Western series Im not too familiar with. Nice to hear him as Yata in .Hack GU again. And his Hal Jordan, Sauron, and Sub Zero are pretty solid works as well.

Erica Lindbeck since she's been on a big roll with Celica,Myrrh, Magilou, Menat, Futaba, Farnese, Pakunoda, and Michelle.

Out of the breakout artists, Only Greg Chun is the only one Im familiar with. And he does a wonderful job with Adam, Lukas, Ike, Ephraim, Rosch, and Amleth.
