'Eeeyyy, yo Adrian! name's Rocky Balboa, have a happy birthday!

Fantastic as Rocky and Rambo. His performance in First Blood is really compelling and emotional and still holds up perfectly.

Happy birthday, Sylvester Stallone!!!

It's pretty neat that he reprised his Rocky Balboa role for Brisk commercials and he was pretty cool as Paul Revere.

Happy Birthday Sylvester Stallone!

He is easily one of the greatest and most iconic action stars of the 70's, 80's 90's and is still very relevant and popular to this date.

My favourite performance of his is as Rocky Balboa in the Rocky franchise, what really impressed me is that he actually wrote the script for the movie. That's pretty awesome.

I also love The Expendables franchise, I mean sure it's not the "best" movie franchise but it's a very fun series, where we finally at long last got to see Stallone, alongside other greats including his rival Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Jason Statham and so much more teaming up and kicking a lot of butt. It delivers what you what you wanted which is having so many iconic action stars sharing the silver screen and that's pretty awesome IMO.

With a great distinctive sounding voice, I'm surprised that he doesn't do as much voice acting as he does. I really enjoyed him as Weaver in Antz, to this day I still quote "You The Ant!".

I'm also looking forward to his upcoming appearance in next year's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it's so cool that he's going to be in a Marvel movie.

also I think it's awesome that he and Frank Stallone are brothers. It makes me kind of want them to cast Sly to voice Thunderhoof in a live-action Transformers movie, if only to have both Stallone brothers in the same voice compare.

Happy 70th Birthday Sylvester Stallone!

It was cool seeing him in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 as Stakar Ogord.

Happy (Belated) Birthday Sylvester Stallone.

@Autovolt He was cool, for all of his, what, five lines of dialogue? Shame that his role amounted to what is basically an extended cameo.

.... You know, when I hear him as Joe the Lion and Weaver, then see him in the 1st Rocky movie and Demolition Man, I have to wonder: Is it that this can't act unless he gets really good direction or can he act really well but chooses not to?

@Aussieroth From all of the macho-men of the 80's (i.e. people like Schwarzenegger, Van Damme, Norris etc.) he is definitely the best actor of the bunch. He gives great performances in all of the Rocky movies, Cop Land, First Blood, Rambo 4 and Demolition Man. In other words, everytime he is allowed to actually show emotions, he does fine. So, you can blame his stiffness in some of his other movies to the fact that during the 80's leading action stars were meant to be "idealistic" men, so they weren't allowed to showcase much emotional range. Of course there were some exceptions every now and then, but until Bruce Willis and Die Hard that was generally the rule.

@Aussieroth See Creed, it's proof that the Stallone from the first Rocky movie and Demolition Man is still alive and well.

@The Doctor I really like that you included Cop Land's performance. That was a really underrated turn from him.

@8000 Saiyans Thanks. I personally think that Sly's most underrated performance would probably be Johnny Kovak from F.I.S.T. but Cob Land was great too.
