Oliver: I know you're trying to get people cautious there, but why should I not be excited about fighting a robot?

Hawking: You would lose.

I think that the entire 2010's decade has been brutal with celebrity deaths. Man John Hurt, Robin Williams, David Ogden Stiers, Tony Rosato, David Bowie, Joe Alaskey, Jack Riley, Kirsten Bishopric, Christine Cavanaugh, Bud Luckey, and now Stephen Hawking. RIP to a truly great man and got me fascinated with the idea of Alien planets along with National Geographic's Extraterrestrial.

@PollyPocketFan78 I have it on good authority that people have died in the past and will continue to die in the future.

R.I.P to one of the most smartest and influential people in the world. It's pretty funny (and depressing) that he died on the date Galileo died, and he died on the date Einstein was born.

R.I.P.

I like the rumor that he enjoyed running over the toes of people he didn't like with his wheelchair.

When he was in his early twenties, doctors said that he only had a couple of years to live.

And yet he defied fate and lasted till his mid-seventies. He made sure illness didn't stop him from making the most out of every moment.

Bravo, sir. Have a peaceful rest.

This was a man who - to put it lightly - had a lot of setbacks, yet he lived a wonderful life nonetheless. He couldn't move and had to speak through a computer, but in his mind, he was free. We're talking about a handicapped badass who was doing that science thing well at 76. Not to mention this astrophysicist had a nice sense of humor and he's got 12 inch rims on his chair... because that's how he rolls, y'all.

But with having said all that, R.I.P Stephen Hawking.

another one that hurts this year for me tbh

man was a ****ing legend

he was diagnosed with ALS and was told he only had two years to live

this was when he was 21

he pulled through and lived the best damn life he possibly could

a real ****ing great loss, and one that will leave a mark on not just this planet but the universe in general

Dammit, not him too.

I’m going to miss that computer voice of his. He defied all odds and never once let his condition deter his place in history. Rest In Peace, you absolute genius, you.

An amazing genius despite having to go through so much hardships in life.

Whenever he guest stars as himself whether it'd be The Simpsons, Futurama or The Big Bang Theory he is hilarious.
