Happy Birthday to Rino Romano!!!

I really liked him as Spider-Man, Batman, Kai, Kyle Katarn, his Scooby-Doo roles, as the Curious George Narrator, and as the "Protagonist"/Darth Revan.

Happy birthday, Rino Romano.

You'll always be the best and most iconic Spider-Man voice for me. He gets down all aspects of the role perfectly.

I also really enjoyed him as the Thief in Samurai Jack, it may have been a one shot, but it was a pretty memorable one shot. He's also really good as Batman from what I've heard, I remember him being pretty good as Tuxedo Mask and while he isn't the best Rikimaru, he does portray a younger version rather well and his performance got really good particularly in the final levels of the game. I also really liked him as Luis Sera and I remember liking him in Starship Troopers Chronicles. The only role of his I ever thought was outright bad was his Green Goblin, and that was more funny bad than anything.

Kind of a shame this guy isn't voice acting much anymore, especially considering he was practically everywhere in the 90's. I'm glad he got a role as recently as 2017 though and I hope the NBC Promos are paying well, along with the Curious George stuff if he's still doing that.

Happy Birthday Rino Romano

As I've said before Rino was the First Voice for Batman I've Ever Heard (besides Adam West). The Fact that he can voice The Dark Knight and our 'Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man', have the range to pull off both roles...... and Yet be Horribly Underused these days is a Very Sad Fact for me.....

I hope he gets a Major Role again at some point. He Would be Perfect as Hot Rod/ Rodimus Prime if given the Chance.

My Top 5 Favourite Roles from him are:

5. Johnny Rico (Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles)
4. Luis Sera (Resident Evil 4)
3. Eduardo Rivera (Extreme Ghostbusters)
2. Batman / Bruce Wayne (The Batman/ The Batman Vs. Dracula)
1. Spider-Man / Peter Parker (Spider-Man Unlimited/ Spider-Man (2000)/ Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro)

Happy Birthday to Rino Romano.

Kind of a shame that ever since Skylanders went on it's "hiatus" he hasn't really done that much in terms of voice-over which is a real shame since he was a very solid Batman and Spider-Man to boot.

Also was a good Tuxedo Mask. Not amazing or anything but it pretty much set the standard for future actors.

Love this guy as Spider-Man and Batman. He's also great as Tuxedo Mask and Luis Sera. He'd be a great voice for Spider-Man 2099.

It's a pity that he doesn't do much voice acting nowadays.

TFW I grew up with his take on Batman/Bruce Wayne the most followed by Adam West's overall portrayal, Kevin Conroy of course, and even Diedrich Bader. With that being said, Happy Birthday, Rino Romano!

I wonder whatever happened to this guy. Outside of doing a bunch of Skylanders and Curious George stuff, he really hasn't done anything else outside of that for nearly a decade

Anyone who can manage to voice both Spiderman and Batman and create two very different & distinct voices for them, like Rino Romano could, has a great deal of talent to me.

Shame he doesn't get more voice work: he's way too talented to be shafted in my eyes.

Still disappointed they didn't get him back as Spidey for Shattered Dimensions.

I wonder if his agent doesn't land him as much in LA as opposed to Toronto, other than that beats me.

It's just; I haven't really seen him in some recent stuff and I was wondering whether he's quit voice acting for good.

@HK-47 master
I think he mainly does promos for NBC. He provided some additional voices for Phineas & Ferb in 2013 and I think he was still doing the Curious George narration in 2015.

You know what i think that he should work for Blue Water Studios if he had a chance to voice Zero again in Mega Man Zero with better direction to match off where Lucas did with Mega Man X Version of Zero.

A very cool voice for Batman and Spider-Man and the voice of NBC.

Seriously why isn't he in more things, his voice is too cool to go to waste.

Wow Spiderman & Batman, Rino I like you but ur sort of a traitor for betraying Marvel by working for DC.
said at 1:35 PM on Sun Dec 22 2013
@Ross123 ...How is him voicing a character from DC somehow betraying Marvel? I suppose Wally Wingert also betrayed DC when he voiced Ant-Man in EMH around a year after he voiced Riddler in Arkham Asylum? It really doesn't matter whatsoever. I mean sure, maybe the companies are rivals in a sense but VA's work on both Marvel and DC stuff all the time and the companies don't care.
said at 1:40 PM on Sun Dec 22 2013
@PsychicVoiceSpy I know that but Spiderman & Batman are two of these companies most popular characters. He did well as them both but come on 2 of the most popular superheroes for different companies is a bit much to me.
said at 4:39 PM on Sun Dec 22 2013
@Ross123 Not tryin' to get on your case or anything, because you're a nice dude, but actors do that sort of thing all the time and more often than Rino did it. I'm just sorta wondering why you're singling out Rino if this kind of thing bothers you.
said at 7:37 AM on Mon Dec 23 2013
@PsychicVoiceSpy With that said I guess Rino doing voices for both companies is cool since VA's do all the time. I honestly don't know why I'm letting this bother me, it seems stupid to let it do so. And now I'm stuck for words, don't know what to say now other than I'm over it.
