Most people say Giovanni's the best role from Ted but (personally) I think his Yami Bakura's the best one. He really nails the menacing and scary aspect he has and that laugh of his is so... so entertaining (even if they did water him down in the dub).

But my god Chuck Powers, if that's supposed to be a Peter Lorre impression... then that isn't very good. In fact he sounds more like a prankster as opposed to a embodiment, not to mention too goofy.

I guess both are better fitted as this version of Bakura than the normal one... I already said my word on the main page though of the two, definetely Ted he has one of the better voices in the English version of the series as well, Chuck was rather corny sounding

My Favourite Voice from Ted Lewis. It's Unnervingly Malevolent, Monstrously British and Oh So Entertaining. Though the 5th Season of Yu-Gi-Oh was a Mixed Bag for me, Lewis' Yami Bakura stole the Show with the awesomeness of his Sardonic Menace.

Chuck Powers just .... can't compare....

1. Ted Lewis
Despite the fact that 4Kids censored a lot of Yami Bakura's more scary moments, Ted Lewis' Yami Bakura still creeps the heck out of me. He sounds so menacing and scary and the accent amplifies that. Not to mention he has an epic evil laugh.

2. Chuck Powers
No. Normal Bakura was already a joke, but his Yami Bakura is just as bad. He sounds bored rather than the living embodiment of evil. Odex may have kept Yami Bakura's creepy moments, but Chuck Powers' performance kills the creepy factor in those scenes.

(Side note: Rica Matsumoto's Yami Bakura scares the heck out of me as well. Who would have thought that this same actress also played Satoshi from Pokemon?)

1. Ted Lewis:

He actually sounds really clever and smug, as well as villainous, and like with Giovanni, I personally love the accent he gives the character (except here it's more British than Italian, IMO).

2. Chuck Powers:

He sounds way too goofy, and like some prankster, as opposed to a villain.

Ted Lewis was amazing as Yami Bakura. This honestly might be my favourite performance from him. The voice, the accent, everything about it just fits like a glove!

Chuck Powers on the other hand.......is slightly more acceptable as Yami Bakura than he is as the regular Bakura.

Ted Lewis's Yami Bakura sounds absolutely diabolical and sinister, the deep English accent which he would also use for Giovanni just fits an cunning villain perfectly. He truly sounds epic in the role.

Chuck Powers is doing a Peter Lorre impression......WHY? Like I can understand Weevil having this kind of voice but Bakura....now that's just pushing it. Another thing is that it sounds so far away from the southern cowboy voice Chuck did for regular ol' Bakura while Ted Lewis sounds more consistent, like other than a change of pitch, tone and attitude, the voice tells you that this is a darker alter-ego to this character, with Chuck they sound like too different terrible voices that don't fit this character period.

Ted Lewis definitely wins this VC and has my vote.

Ted Lewis- Sounded smug, self-satisfied, appropriate villainous, cold, ruthless, and evil.

Chuck Powers- Peter Lorre impression gone horribly wrong.

I don't know what is more creepier: Chuck's voice? Or the music in the background? 0_0

Ted has that cold and calculating feeling to his voice that really defines Yami Bakura, and his British, intelligent sounding voice: he gets my vote.

Actually that background music is from the Original Japanese version of the show, but oddly enough, I like the 4Kids dub's background music score more in Ted's clip. Suprisingly, it seemed to give off a more Egyptian feeling.

Anyway, forgetting that, Ted Lewis is much better and he's my pick for the best actor for Yami Bakura. He has this very evil feeling to his voice and it's very creepy and fitting for the character. Chuck sounds like a Southern gentleman doing a bad imitation of Peter Lorre or something as others have said before.

Ted really has that cold and calculated performance that really makes Yami Bakura very sinister. Chuck Powers sounds like a really bad impersonation of Peter Lorre, is there a good side? ...........I guess it has the potential to be an internet meme.

Powers sounds too much like (a terribly cheap imitation of) Peter Lorre.

Though, I do like the music that plays in the background of Chuck's clip, though it has nothing to do with the performance itself, which is still pretty painful to listen to.

I'm sticking with Ted Lewis
