Voice Compare » Xenosaga » Tony
Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Tony with sound clips and images.
Tony is one of the various secondary protagonists in the Xenosaga series and like a lot of the other characters in the series he made his debut in the first game of the series. Tony is the Helmsman of the ship the Elsa whom is mainly known for piloting the ship (especially in highly difficult situations) and would gladly hit on any young woman he can find. One way to describe Tony is that he is a good example of a "Macho Pretty Boy" as he is a rather hot-headed young man whom likes to think of piloting the ship Elsa in dangerous situations as quite a challenge. While Tony will try to shamelessly act smooth around young women like Shion and would verbally clash with other guys (especially his more reserved and intellectual counterpart Hammer) he is a good guy whom can definitely be counted on as the pilot of the Elsa.

EDITOR'S OPINIONToday on the Xenosaga VC section we take a look at the Helmsman of the Elsa himself... TONY! Lets take a look here...
Tony Oliver- I liked Tony's fairly rough but still genuinely youthful voice for the role. I like on how Tony's work as Tony can be hot-headed but can also be rather smooth as well and is a pretty good example of his work and a fine example of the voice work in the series.
Henry Dittman- While Henry's voice for the role is a bit lighter than Tony's but it still does work with the role pretty well. Not too mention on how Henry does deliver a energetic performance which can sound very hot-blooded but can also be able to take a certain bad situation very seriously. Not quite one of the best examples of replacement VA talent in the series but certainly one of the worst either.
Christopher Patton- One thing I can say about Chris' voice and performance for this role is that I liked on how Chris really seems to be playing up on how smooth Tony can be but not come off as way too overdone in the process. Chris Patton's work as Tony is a fine example of his work and a good example of the voice work in the dub of the TV series.
Overall I am going with Tony Oliver and Christopher Patton the most with Henry Dittman at a fairly close second.
