You know Toad's always been a character I've always found annoying and unlikable and the weird irony here is that my favourite voice Toad has had in his entire history is voiced by a VA who is no stranger to voicing obnoxious and annoying characters.....Alexander Polinsky.

Alexander is usually typecast as that annoying self serving know it all but he's a lot like Lee Tockar, who is often typecast in similar type of roles and much like Lee, Alexander in real life is actually a really sweet and cool person. LOL Go Figure. Anyways He really makes Toad sound cool. He's one of the few VA's here who uses an English accent which references his upbringing in England. The voice, the attitude, the accent and pitch just all clicks together for me. Alexander Polinsky as Toad is a perfect match as far as I'm concerned.

A.J Buckley's performance as Toad is overrated, not only does he sound annoying but he sounds whiny too. I mean no disrespect to A.J but I don't care for his Toad.

Noel Fisher is my second favourite, he sounds annoying but it's in a good way actually. His voice just screams Toad and he manages to be funny, arrogant and even sympathetic at times.

Greg Cipes isn't the best fit for Toad but he's really enjoyable in the Lego Marvel Super Heroes game. What's funny is that both Greg and Noel are the current voices for Michelangelo my favourite Ninja Turtle. That's pretty neat.

Armin Shimmerman is the only other VA here who has an English accent but he just sounds too old for a punk like Toad.

Dave Wittenburg is decent but needs way more material to work before I'd consider him good in the role.

Frank Welker is sadly in last place. I just find him really annoying sounding. It sorta works with his original depictions but I just don't find him at all interesting in the role.

In the end I'm giving my vote to Alexander. I really hope he gets to voice Toad again. He's perfect IMO.

BONUS: I kinda want to see what other Michelangelo VA's like Wayne Grayson, Mikey Kelly, Townsend Coleman and/or Robbie Rist would have to offer as Toad. For non-Mikey voices either Tom Kenny or Lee Tockar would be great, all providing they have an accent.

Alexander - I never thought that voice would work for Toad, but after a while, I thought he nailed the character and personality. A highlight from Destiny and my favourite voice for Toad.

AJ - I have no idea why he has as many votes as he does. Even though i like WatXM, I thought Toad had one of the worst voices in the show. He comes off being obnoxiously whiny and is kinda forced too.

Noel - Great as the younger version of Toad. He has the right amount of energy and can be despicable (in a good way) as well. A worthy 2nd place.

Armin - Could have been a great choice, but doesn't have very much to go with his performance besides the accent.

Frank - As much as I like Welker as a VA, he comes off being ridiculously generic.

Greg - He could have been more natural, but it does seem like he's having fun in the role.

@Fulgore2005 To be fair to AJ, I don't really like Toad's character in WatXM compared to the likes of Destiny and MSH.

Alexander comes closest to what I think of Toad sounding like. The accent is nice, he's got the personality down and even a tad bit creepy. I wish he was more energetic and that his voice was could have been a bit more exaggerated just to give off a "gross" tone to him.

Noel is a close second, yeah no accent but he's got the energy and him playing all clingy and annoying was a good substitute for that disgusting element that Alexander lacked. A bit young sounding but that was intentional.

Greg might come closest to third but his voice doesn't sound that natural. Though he sounds like he's having fun and that helps make give an enjoyable performance.

Not feeling the others. Dave could have been better, he comes off as some punk. AJ just sounds forced and his performance was rather annoying. Arim is another actor that could have worked but all he has is the accent and nothing else. Frank is a generic 'Igor' type voice.

For some reason, I can't ever unhear that Cockney accent Alexander Polinsky had for Toad whenever I see the character! The performance on it's own was very good and fit Toad perfectly. Noel Fisher and Greg Cipes were equally good, mainly because their energy helps their performances, as they sound like they're having a lot of fun with the role. Armin Shimerman's... okay. He has the accent, which I like, but he lacks that sort of "inhuman" quality Polinsky had (still a good performance though). I'm not fond of the rest though, AJ Buckley makes Toad sound like a stoner and Frank Welker sounds like a bad Gollum impression.

I'm going with Alexander Polinsky. He's definitely the closest to what I would imagine, although I was also kinda thinking of a little more inhuman sounding voice as well.

Alexander Polinsky works the best here, it sounds confident and young enough without sounding too old or wimpy for the character like AJ Buckley. Noel is my 2nd favorite, it's a very funny and memorable performance for the younger version of Toad.

@TheVengeanceKnight When I heard he would voice Toad, I thought the performance would be similar to AJ Buckley's take. But I was surprised.

I prefer the Ultimate Universe's version of Toad and while I haven't play X-Men: Destiny, it seems like that, judging from the clip, was what Alexander Polinsky's Toad was going for and his voice would suit that Toad, so I'm going with him. That said, AJ Buckley, Armin Shimerman, and Noel Fisher work as classic Toad.
