Voice Compare » X-Men » Forge
Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Forge with sound clips and images.
Forge is a mutant and a recurring supporting character of the X-Men who first appeared in Uncanny X-Men
#184 (August 1984). Forge has the mutant ability for invention - he can
intuitively construct and use any kind of highly advanced mechanical
device, sense mechanical energy, and reverse-engineer any machine.
Forge's real name is unknown, though he is of the Cheyenne nation,
raised to be the tribe's next medicine man by the village elder Naze.
However, he leaves the nation and joins the military and while on tour,
he loses his right hand and right leg, which he replaces with
cybernetics he built. With his mutant ability, he quickly becomes an
employee for the Defense Department and builds many weapons for them,
including a device that neutralizes mutant powers. Said device removed
the powers of Storm, whom Forge rescued and they began to have a
romantic relationship. He enlists the help of the X-Men to help him destroy the powerful demon known as Adversary. Later on he joins X-Factor and then worked for
the X-Men as support staff.

EDITOR'S OPINION
Personally, I have always imagined Forge with a smooth, intelligent voice and the voice actor that did that best was Lou Diamond Phillips. He gives Forge a great edge. Other personal favorites include Marc Strange and Phil LaMarr.UltimateCharm

Gonna go with Lou Diamond Phillips, though Roger Craig Smith and Phil LaMarr are also good.

This is a great voice compare, as there's quite a few to choose from, and for the most part, everybody did exceptionally well. It's probably my favorite one you've done thus far UltimateCharm! Congrats! :D
I'm not exactly sure who I'd choose from in an instant, but I think I like Roger Craig Smith, Marc Strange, and Phil LaMarr the best, but it is quite close.
