Michael McConnohie's short but memorable performance as the symbiotic left hand is excellent. One of the stronger performances in the Carl Macek directed dub and it stands as some of my favorite voice work that McConnohie has ever done. The fact that the performance is 22 years old and still holds up quite well after all these years is remarkable in itself. Michael McShane isn't bad but his performance doesn't even come close to matching McConnohie's great performance.

You can't beat that sample clip! It's the perfect example: two very different voices, same voice actor. Bloodlust can't touch that.

Not only did I prefer McConnohie's voice as the better voice even though McShane did do a great job in 2000's Bloodlust.

I'm torn over who I find more appropriate for this role. Kirk was OK, although he did sound a bit too nasally at times. However, his dialogue isn't particularly good or memorable. Mike McShane is much more smug in tone, but in a way this works just as well. He gets to have a lot of memorable lines, and fills the role of a sarcastic companion very well. Either approach is valid, but I'm going with Mike, as he does a better job overall.
Who do you think has been the best from these Ds Left Hand voice actors?
