Tony Todd certainly has charisma not only on his appearence, but on his voice as well: being both deep and raspy, yet somewhat booming, it works for major bad guy.
James Arnold Taylor did good job too though(even if his performance reminded of Shredder from newest TMNT cartoon a bit): I hate to admit, but despite the fact that i am aware of many Voice Actor,s ability to change their voices in almost chameleon way, it still sometimes takes me as surprise if hear somebody doing voices out of their, what we would call, normal normal, or at least we have used hear, range.
Being used to hear James in the roles like Tidus at the first hand, before i started to dig in career, and then hearing him doing The Fallen, i was like: What the hell that was you!?(In a positive way, of course)
However, it still pissess me off that Michael Bay ditched James for Tony because he wasnt ;famous enough;(Typical Hollywood!): James is wonderful voice actor. If you gonna switch over someone, you should do it considering if they can do voice better than you think other did, and not judge because of their celebrity status.
