Voice Compare » Transformers » Superion
Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Superion with sound clips and images.
Superion is a colossal gestalt created by the formation of all five Aerialbots. He is very strong but single-minded; the only things he's motivated to do are the protection of humans and destruction of Decepticons.

EDITOR'S OPINION
Frank Welker's one of my favourite VAs, but this is easily his weakest Transformers performance. Since he only said about two lines as the character, however, you can't hate on the voice too much. I'm going to give this one to Ed Gilbert, with Paul Dobson not too far behind.NCZ

My votes going to Paul. In my opinion, his was the most memorable.

Going for Ed Gilbert here, never before did I think Baloo would fit a transformer so well, but here he is, doing a rich deep voice for Superion, gotta love it.
I agree with NCZ, normally I love Frank Welker, but this is really a surprisingly weak performance from him, especially for a COLOSSAL gestalt like Superion. He makes him sound tiny and...kinda like a weasel. Which is weird since I'm pretty sure he can do deep voices (Megatron from Transformers: Prime, anyone?)
Paul Dobson's sort of in the same boat as Frank Welker here, though for entirely different reasons altogether, he doesn't make him sound like a wimp, but it is kind of a cheesy and unremarkable, even generic, which is a shame because Paul Dobson, much like Frank Welker is one of my favourite VAs.
Going for Ed here. Sorry Frank and Paul.
