Well folks its been a little while since the last time I did a VC for Transformers so I figured for the Transformers' VC section comeback I figured why not Seaspray? Unlike most other Transformers characters he will be one of the few in which it will be just one TF series namely the original one as he has yet to have had a speaking role in any other TF animated series.

In the series he was voiced by VA Alan "Skeletor" Oppenheimer whom has done a fairly unique voice for Seaspray. (Though not too hard to imitate if you know the proper mouth movements when trying to do a voice like that.) But anyways while Seaspray had a relatively secondary role in the series (except for one episode) but still Alan's voice and overall performance was definitely fitting for Seaspray.

While Alan voiced Seaspray in the series, Seaspray made an appearance in one of the Transformers PSA's in which he was voiced by the show's rather infamous voice director Wally Burr. Now this isn't the first time Wally has ever did a "Stand-in" performance in G1 Transformers and he is a decent alternative and has made some effort into impersonating Alan's voice for the role. However its not too hard to tell that Alan didn't voice Seaspray in that PSA so its not Wally's best "Stand-in" performance for Transformers but it wasn't his worst.

Overall neither one were bad but I am definitely going with Alan Oppenheimer here for sure.

Alan Oppenheimer may have been re-using his Mer-Man voice but I feel it was rather appropriate for Seaspray.

Wally Burr is alright, sounds a lot like Alan but at the same time he's missing that gargle Alan had.

I'm going with Alan.

BONUS: Eric Bauza's Ripjaws would be perfect for Seaspray. For the original concept for Prime Seaspray being a badass hunter, for some reason I keep thinking Michael Bell's High Tide would have been perfect for that, just give him more of an Irish or Newfoundlander accent.

You known he was going to appear in Prime. Somehow living belong blown up by dreadwing. I wander who they would have had him played by?

Alan Oppenheimer of course. I used to imitate that voice as a kid. It was a lot of fun. My parents would ask me to do the "underwater voice".

If anyone has heard Eric Bauza's Ripjaws in Ben 10: Omniverse, he'd make a good Seaspray.

Is it me, or does Alan's Seaspray sound a bit like Mer-Man
