Judd sounds so different in Transformers Animated (2007)....then he did in the Transformer's animated movie 1986. sounds like he did two different voices between the two cartoons.

Again I'm going with the classics and give this one to Judd Nelson, though I do think that Dick Gautier, Travis Willingham, and Ted Schwartz were also good.

My Thoughts:
1) Dick Gautier: For me, he was great and pretty memorable as Rodimus.
2) Judd Nelson: Impressive performance as Roddy, but like Robert Stack, his well-known actor status made him appear only in the movie as a special guest actor. At least he returned for Animated, which was awesome news at first, but then I figured out he was only in the Season 3 premiere. :(
3) Ted Schwartz: He was great, but his lines were only because of a technical error. Ted Schwartz was unlucky in Transformers. He was cast as Rodimus only to be replaced by a better VA. He didn't had much luck with Tailgate either.
4) Peter Von Gomm: Impressive, he actually seems to put a lot of effort on his performance.
5) Paul Dobson: Great. He delivers his voice with degrees of toughness which make him memorable.

it looks like animated forgot to make judds voice metalic when compaired to his voice in the movie clip.

I actually like Schwartz as Rodimus. He sounds somewhat like Judd Nelson.

I like Judd and Gautier the best. Schwartz just doesn't sound right in the Rodimus role.

It was the Season 3 Premiere Transwarped that Nelson reprised Roddy

Trouble is most of Paul Dobson's voices all sound the same, that's the problem.

I actually think Ted Cole would have been a much better Rodimus Prime than Paul Dobson.
