Is it bad I prefer the badly done voice from the Headmasters dub?

None of them are perfect, but I suppose I'll go with Frank.

The UVA (Who after looking it over along with Nightmare Crusher I'm pretty sure is Simon Broad, not Rik Thomas) is actually my favourite, voicing my preferred interpretation of the character, that of a vengeful leader. He does get hammy at times but the voice itself does sound appropriately youthful and determined, and he can emote when the scene calls for it, that and he definitely got the most material out of all of them, so he got a lot more time to develop the character.
Frank Welker's voice is okay for what little material he has, it does fit the more intellectual side of the character, but I feel it sounds like a generic computer nerd. If he had more time in the role he might've been able to get more used to the role and develop his performance more, but as it stands...ehhhh...
At least Frank Welker fits though, I can't say the same for Russ Veillard, that southern accent is completely ill fitting for a character like Chromedome in any of his interpretations. It couldn't be any less fitting.
So overall, my vote goes to the UVA, with Frank Welker second and Russ Veillard dead last.
I'd personally cast Xander Berkeley as Chromedome, something like his Captain Atom voice I think would really fit any version of the character. I also think Quinton Flynn could work as Chromedome as well.

@Metabad Rik Thomas' go as Chromedome was apparently for a cameo in Super-God Masterforce. I haven't seen it myself though, so take it with a grain of salt.

I think I'll vote for Frank Welker but honestly nobody here fits my preferred voice and characterization of Chromedome, The MTMTE version.
Russ Veillard and the UVA sound bland.
BONUS: The voice I hear when I read the comics for Chromedome is Michael C. Hall (Dexter), I imagine a low yet quiet but not monotone type of voice. I could also see Mark Hildreth or even Anthony Ruivivar fitting well as Chromedome.

This is a character I'd like to see more of, or at least in another show. If that happens, I could imagine people like Troy Baker or James Arnold Taylor taking over the role.
For now, my vote's on Welker.
