i like both robinson's voice and bosch's voice
but i think i gotta go with johnny because he makes bumblebee sound like a serious and sometimes humorous teenager
as for robinson he just make bumblebee sound like a goof

Agreed. I've got no idea why they went back to that.

I like Dan Gilvezan's voice the best for Bumblebee.

Bumper's Bee just cracks me up. I think it's both the script and his line delivery.
"How come you have three faces? Couldn't decide which one was ugliest?"
It's just that hyperactive energy that he just puts into the role. I thought the movie version was cool, but Bumper has just got to be my favourite.

While I am a big fan of the movie Bumblebee, the lost vocal processor idea really bugs me. For the Prime cartoon, I would have loved to see him voiced by James Arnold Taylor. Personally, I would prefer something close to his Leonardo voice in the TMNT movie.

@bumblebeebug Now that you mention it, JAT WOULD make a pretty awesome Bumblebee.

@NCZ Now someone has to convince the makers of TF: Prime to make this happen. Silent Bumblebee is so hard to relate to.

THat could work. Personally, I was hoping Prime would get JYB back, but JAT is a good alternate. Besides, after "Out of the Past", I'm not holding my breath for JYB to come back.

while I vote for Yong Bosch, I do like Bumper Robinsons goofy and energetic portrayal as Bumblebee and while Ryan only had a total of two lines, I do wish he had talked more because it is an interesting voice. But am I the only one that thinks he sounds like an old speak and spell toy?

Comparing Johnny Yong Bosch to Bumper Robinson is like comparing Josh Keaton to Drake Bell. ;-P

No offense, but that's a little low to say that about Robinson's Bumblebee.

I voted for Gilvezan..this Bumblebee's gotta sound young stuff didn't begin until well after G1.

I'm gonna go with Johnny Yong Bosch. He managed to sound young and inexperienced without sounding like a clown.

@TheVengeanceKnight Bumblebee is kind of a clown, though. Part of his character is that he's always cracking jokes and having fun.
Replysaid at 3:35 AM on Wed Jan 30 2013
@NCZ Not buying it. In a war spanning eons, anyone doing that kind of crap will be dead.
Replysaid at 9:53 AM on Wed Jan 30 2013
@TheVengeanceKnight Then why isn't Bumblebee dead?
Replysaid at 6:43 PM on Wed Jan 30 2013
@TheVengeanceKnight I'm pretty sure he meant that in spite of your "flawless" breed of logic, Bumblebee is very much alive and kicking. If anything, a character who keeps in such high spirits in the face of widespread death and destruction sounds like a pretty effective morale-booster in a group. I don't actually know much if anything about the character, so I'm just going by what's already been brought up.
Also, keep in mind that real-life-brand logic doesn't exactly fly in the world of cartoons.

@NCZ @CatsTuxedo I just don't think an Autobot soldier/scout should act like a clown.

I think Johnny's voice is alright but there's nothing like Dan Gilvezan for Bumblebee's voice.

As much as I like Johnny Bosch I don't feel he's that fitting for Bubblebee. Bubblebee is suppose to have a sense of humor and only Bumper and Dan portray that. THe others aren't bad (maybe Merluzzi for being a little bit too high but that might just be me) they just fdon't reflect how the sense of humor of Bumblebee.

My favorites are Dan Gilvezan, Bumper Robinson, and Johnny Yong Bosch, though I'm probably voting for Dan because whenever I hear him it reminds me of Spider-Man (for good reason). lol

Dan's and Bumper's voices for Bumblebee were great. But, for Johnny as Bumblebee....great fit, he just sounds...angry all most of the time.

My favorites are Dan and Bumper's voices. Dan's my favorite since he still has the same voice like he did for the 80s Spiderman series. Bumper's also my favorite as well since he sounds perfect for Bumblebee in the Animated series.

Dan Gilvezan is my favorite. It's hard to believe he's never reprised his role, but yet he has with Spider-Man (whom he isn't as good as playing in my opinion).

My Thoughts:
1) Dan Gilvezan: Great and charming performance. Gilvezan is widely recognized as Bumblebee.
2) Jack Merluzzi: Liked his energetic performance. It's better than his Starscream.
3) Mark Ryan: At first he made a great performance in the animated comic Transformers Beginnings, his voice was like a teenager which gave hope, but in the movie he just had to lines, but in the ROTF he has more prominence and actually Ryan altered his voice to show us that Bumblebee was more experienced and older than he was in Beginnings or the Movie.
4) Bumper Robinson: Great performance as a hyperactive Bumblebee.
5) Johnny Yong Bosch: His voice revives the G1 character's spirit and it's a great performance.

Personally, i do like Johnny,s Bumblebee: this of course only my opinion, but in this game, he is young autobot(most likely what Cheetor was for Beast Wars), with little experienced, even if he already talented warrior. Like some of his friend said, Johnny has great hero voice, and one of the few ;heroic; voices i can listen without getting antsy.
Bumber did nice job for more ;teenager;, goofy version of the character. I actually liked that while remaining loyal to Hasbro created phenomanal, TF:Animated didnt tried to follow too strickly in rules and tried something new too, including some minor character changes.
Dan Gilvezan goes for crown here, when it comes down to older/mature Bumblebee: he remarked character with both friendly additude and quick-witted quircks, making him likeable character whom would inspire many his alikes to be sparked in future generations of Transformers.
I do admire Mark Ryan,s work he did to create Bublebee, but i aint too fond of that British voice: it sound bit too sophisticated for carefree yet brave protector.

Yeah, not a big fan of Bosch's Bumblebee either
Replysaid at 8:37 AM on Thu Jul 1 2010
I'm not really the biggest fan of Bosch's performance. He made Bumblebee sound too much like Ichigo Kurosaki.
It's tough choosing between Bumper Robinson and Dan Gilvezan, but I think I liked Gilvezan a little better.

Dan Gilvezan's Bumblebee had a more "mature" voice than Bumper Robinson's. They're both great though. As for Mark Ryan... that Bumblebee got all of two lines, but they didn't sound that great.
