Voice Compare » Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles » Tokka
Comparision of the voice over actors who have been the voice of Tokka with sound clips and images.
EDITOR'S OPINION
He ain't teenage and he certainly isn't a ninja but here is another mutant turtle namely Tokka! Tokka made his debut in the 2nd TMNT live action movie "The Secret of the Ooze". And in this movie he was voiced by the current "Voice God" himself Frank Welker. While both Tokka and Rahzar were pretty much monstrous beasts with childish mentality. While Frank's Rahzar voice is lower and more beastly his Rahzar voice is more higher and raspy and hey it worked. The only other time Tokka (and Rahzar) got a speaking role so far is in the rather obscure episode of the first TMNT series "Dirk Savage Mutant Hunter" in which he was voiced by VA Rob Paulsen. Now granted I am sure that at least someone here is wondering why didn't they just get Frank to reprise his roles in the series I mean all things considered it shouldn't be too much of a stretch. (But then again that TMNT movie is so far the only TMNT feature that Frank is even in so far.) Though Rob Paulsen is not a really bad choice as he does give it a pretty good shot at trying to sound like what Frank did for the role. (But lets just say when it comes to Rob Paulsen's handiwork on the show I am a lot more partial to his work as Raphael. Course I have ALWAYS been a fan of Rob's handiwork as Raph but that's a different story.)
Overall Rob is not too bad but I will have to give to Frank here this time.

What is up with Rob's voice clip? It sounds like someone played his line in the background while playing the music from the TMNT 1 NES game.
