EDITOR'S OPINIONCasey Jones, its almost sad really on how he is probably one of the most normal looking fictional crime fighters in New York.
But still that doesn't mean his persona is the least bit "normal" or so but in the old TV series he was voiced by VA Patrick "Krang" Fraley. Basically it looks like the instructions he basically got was "try to give us your best Clint Eastwood impression" when it comes to voice but in a way it works. And to be fair the old TV series did go with the idea of Casey Jones being a violent vigilante that's not so sane and Patrick Fraley definitely delivered with that. (However that's all what the old series did with Casey namely the "Nutjob who thinks he is a crime fighter" as Raph puts it. Perhaps Casey Jones' characterization in the old series was a bit of an example of as what TVTropes would say "Flanderization" but its not the worst example and it still works.)
In the 2K3 series he was voiced by VA Marc Thompson, and I won't beat around the bush here this is probably one of the best performances in his Career. This Casey Jones is still a violent vigilante with a bit of a screws loose but the series does delve in to a bit more with his friendship with the Turtles family and his relationship with April. Marc Thompson's voice work on Casey does make it easy to tell that the voice acting for the show was done in New York. But still it does definitely work and its easily one of Marc's best voice acting performances.
In the TMNT movie released back in 2007 he was voiced by Chris "Johnny Storm" Evans in which his voice work for Casey much like his overall depiction in the movie was pretty much "2K3 Casey Jones-Lite" but considering how the Movie went it does make sense so its not bad.
Overall I would go with Marc Thompson here but Patrick Fraley and Chris Evans are a close second as well.
(Update: Surprisingly Josh Peck gets to take over the role in the 2012 TMNT series and he does a pretty good job in playing a younger version of Casey here. But still Josh does do a good job in playing Casey as an eager but well meaning young punk but while I admit I am still going with Marc Thompson the most but Josh's work is very good too.)
